Hello K9 Cabins customers! If you would like to enroll your pup in some dog classes, for basic obedience and getting used to being around other dogs, Wolfpack's enrollment starts today! Kristen and her crew are absolutely fabulous! Kristen used to work at the K9 Cabins years ago. Some of you may remember her! Tell her we sent you.

WOOFPACK GROUP CLASS ENROLLMENT 🥳🥳

WoofPack1 and WoofPack 2 will be offered Sundays at 11am starting 10/6!

WoofPack 1 is for any WoofPack clients who have not taken a WP group class before. You will practice obedience and state of mind around other dogs while learning handling and new obedience skills!

WoofPack 2 is for any WoofPack clients who have taken a group class with us. This is to practice and learn more advanced obedience and handling skills!

These classes will be combined but each class will have its own trainer and curriculum! The classes are $200 for 6 weeks of classes and will take place at Nevin Park in Charlotte

Do you love dogs? Are you looking for a job? We have your solution!

Our small family owned business, K9 Cabins is looking for an enthusiastic dog loving person to join our team!
We are looking for a part-time, possibly full-time person.  Minimum of three days a week and possibly five, as needed.

Duties include but not limited to :
-Letting dogs out to go potty and feeding and playing with dogs.
-Bathing and blow drying dogs per management instructions.
- Maintain a high standard of cleaning and pet safety.
- Cleaning facility for odorless, stress-free environment.
-Following directions and very detailed instructions.
-Must be able to comprehend time management and multitasking. This is very important. 
- Proper dog handling per management.
-Report, unusual dog behavior or injuries to management.
- Must have excellent customer service for humans and patience for dogs.
-  Must have a real passion for dogs. It's not just a job it's a lifestyle. We treat all of our dogs as if they are our own dogs.
-Must have your own transportation and be punctual as being late will not be tolerated.
-Must be flexible with hours as we are open seven days a week every single day of the year.
-Work hours are 8 to 5 with a one hour lunch break between 12 and 1pm.
-Must be self motivated yet able to work as a team. Very important!
-This position is very rewarding! However it is a very strenuous job! It is not for the weak. You will be bending and lifting and running and walking! So if you're not in shape, it's probably not the job for you.
-We also work outside most of the time so you must be be able to withstand working in the rain the snow or the heat.

***Adopted 8/15/2024*** Okay... we are working on getting a picture of this big, sweet and gentle GSD, but we couldn't wait for that to share with you that Festus is here and he is looking for his forever family! This adorable and sweet boy is so gently! He has done great here for all his exams, he did great when meeting other dogs here, although he didn't really show much interest in the dog compared to soliciting affection from the human. Sweet Festus came to us as a stray and he is estimated at 2 years of age. This sweet boy weighs 66.90 pounds and you HAVE to meet him in person! We will share better pictures as soon as we get them! Please come and meet Festus in person for more information. We always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption.

This little wee-one is Myrtle and she came to us as a stray. This friendly girl spent the weekend with her finder until the shelter reopened and she was clear to bring her! Myrtle is 6 months old and her finder learned that not only is she adorable and sweet, but she was also friendly with her dogs! Myrtle is ready for her very own home and she is hoping her family is out there waiting to see this precious face and know it was meant to be! She is a beautiful brindle setter/retriever mix and she currently weighs 26.70 pounds. Come and meet this sweet, playful puppy in person for more information. We participated in a fundraiser for Back the Blue with WIckedJeepsNC.

The K9 Cabins donated an auction item, and this was the happy pup who won the prize.!! He's also a therapy dog! Enjoy the video.

Had the best day with my Jeep friends raising money for the fallen heroes! The police officers that leave for work every day not knowing if they're ever gonna come home. K9 Cabins did a raffle basket and it was a huge hit. I'm so happy for this dog who is a therapy dog! This dog deserves everything! Just like our police officers .

***Adopted 6/10/2024***This sweet girl is Princess and she is 8 years old. She was surrendered to the shelter when her owner fell upon some times that would not allow her to remain in their care. She is nervous being here and this just isn't home. She is looking for the family who will understand the need for going slow and who will be patient with her, as she is such a sweet girl, just nervous. She was in a home with other dogs and we always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption. If you think you can give this sweet girl a chance at the best life and can allow her the time to do just that at her pace, please come and meet her in person for more information. She weighs 16.90 pounds and is that little dog that many are looking for. This older girl deserves that second chance and we just know she is going to make the best furfamily member to her forever! She is available for adoption when we open tomorrow at 12pm. We are a first come, first serve, in person adoption center and remind you that our FB or messenger is not always monitored.
