More Buk Bars available! We switched to the Palouse's famous Zak Feed as our base ingredient for our premium chicken treat. These boredom busters are packed full of protein, vitamins and essential nutrients. Chickens love them! The 8oz rounds are $4, 1lb bars are $7. Can deliver to Troy or Moscow if you get two or more.

Here's an updated list of ingredients:
Zak Feed
Rolled oats
Black Oil sunflower seeds
Cracked corn
Red Quinoa
Whole flax seeds
Whole wheat flour
Coconut oil
Molasses
Whole eggs (shells included for calcium)
Cinnamon

New and improved recipe! Switched out the store bought scratch and layer crumble for the Palouse's famous Zach Feed. With the subtle green of the peas, the yellow cracked corn, the red quinoa, and the golden glaze of the molasses these turned out beautifully 😍

Buk Bars are delicious and nutritious boredom busters for your chickens. We make them with healthy whole ingredients, each one meeting one of your chickens nutritional needs. Here's our ingredient list:
Organic Scratch
Layer Crumble
Old Fashioned Oats
Whole Wheat Flour
Black Oil Sunflower Seeds
Whole eggs (including shells)
Black Strap Molasses
Coconut Oil
Flax Meal
Quinoa
Cinnamon
Cayenne Pepper
Oregano

Please note: Our recipe is still in development and we are planning on getting them appropriately labeled and registration for retail in the near future.

We're working on developing our first box! I'm not asking you to be a subscriber (tho you could be) I'm really just interested in feedback at this point. Here are some ideas we've had. As a fellow chicken owner, which of the items would you find value in?
🌱Sprouting materials and seeds (chickens love sprouts and microgreens!)
🐛Chicken treats such as mealworms, grubs, etc
📚Books about chickens and raising them
🪜Toys for chickens (net for hanging treats, Swing, etc)
🐔Various chicken related swag (decals, socks, fun stuff, etc)

We're still brain storming so feel free to share any thoughts or ideas! Thank you!
