What an incredible experience to allow Sawyer to try out for this event last week.. Im so proud of my boy. We tracked through 400 yards of fields and wood. SIR SAWYER is now UBT blood tracking certificated. Thank you to John Yutzy for letting us use Carrigan Farm to do the event at.

"What an incredible year it has been at Uwharrie GSP! From exploring Florida's stunning beaches to experiencing Connecticut's snowy wonderland, I've had amazing adventures. Delivering two successful litters to loving homes has been bittersweet, but seeing families happy with their new German Shorthaired Pointers brings me immense joy. I feel truly blessed by God for the wonderful GSPs and the abundance of blessings this year. 🐾❤️

🎉 Exciting News Announcement! 🎉

I am thrilled to share some amazing news with all of you! Josie, our beloved furry friend, will be bringing us a new litter in early February! 🐾💕

On top of that, today we are celebrating the big 2nd birthday of Josie's and sister Gracie! 🎂🎈 Time flies, and it feels like just yesterday when these adorable girls became a part of our family.

Last year, on Valentine's Day, I was truly blessed to welcome Josie and Gracie into my life, thanks to their amazing parents, and a friend from Missouri. They have brought so much joy and love into our home!

But that's not all! I have teamed up with a local friend, Bill Tipton, to introduce a new color variation to this upcoming litter. Our collaboration with stud Copone will surely bring some beautiful surprises! 🌈🐾

I am grateful to Bill Tipton reaching out and making this wonderful experience possible. Together, we are committed to providing the best care and love for Josie, Gracie, and their soon-to-arrive puppies.

The German shorthaired pointer was no accident. The dog's roots trace back to the 1600s, when the heavy Spanish pointer was crossed with the Hanoverian hound to produce a dog that was interested in both trailing mammals and pointing birds. These all-purpose hunters could also kill wounded game if the need arose.
