We received a fabulous update from 1yo LUNA's mom and dad about her first beach vacation, her first season, and her dock diving training! So happy for them! 😊

"Hi Basia. Hope everything is going well for you guys. Things are great here. Luna had her first beach vacation. In Sanibel island. She loved it. Here are some pics from her vacation. We taught her how to look for dolphins and dig holes on the beach.

She finally came into season as well. Poor girl had to wear diapers in the house though. She wasn't really happy about it at first.

We have a NADD jump scheduled at the Gated dock on 1/4. BTW I love all the photos and videos of your babies. They make my day. Oh and a video of our training as well."

🐾 Did you know? Feeding just 20% fresh food to puppies can significantly reduce the risk of skin issues later in life, according to researchers in Helsinki. 🥦🐶

Even better? Starting your pup on a whole food diet can help prevent skin problems altogether.

But here’s the catch: feeding heat-dried animal parts, fruits, or even drinking from puddles were identified as *risk factors* for skin disease. Kibble-heavy diets also showed a significant link to allergies and atopic dermatitis (AD), a common inflammatory skin condition in dogs.

As DogRisk team leader Docent Anna Hielm-Björkman shares:
“Puppies not getting any raw foods, eating mostly dry food like kibble, and being fed fruits or dried animal parts had significantly more allergy-related symptoms in adulthood.”

Happy GOTCHA DAY Anniversary to Mr. RE*****ON!! 💙 We were thrilled to get this update from his mom today:

"Basia, I hope you are doing well! It is hard to believe that it has been a year since we picked up Re*****on. He is a wonderful dog and we love having him as a part of our family. He is super receptive to his training, and is the perfect balance of sweet and mischievous. He still walks around the house with his blanket you gave him, at least what is left of it. 😂 Have a Merry Christmas!"
