Today we are featuring Deb Thompson, owner of Troy Pets.

Deb started her profession as a dog groomer at a young age. She began grooming pets at the age of 17½. She earned her certification with the National Dog Groomers Association in all dog breeds. Today she grooms small and medium breeds by appointment. “I love that my customers trust me and let me use my artistic side when grooming their pets. I have done mohawks, used different colors on dogs, and of course, I can just do traditional grooming styles,”
said Deb. “Troy is my home, and my customers are like family,” she said. “They bring me lots of smiles when they come in.” Deb is a member of Springhill Baptist Church.
Deb loves the pets she has in the shop. Before she knew they were illegal to have in a pet store, she had a baby capuchin monkey. “He used to answer the phone for us!” Deb said.
