Ensure their feet stay happy and healthy with these top tips for protecting their paws:

Check Paw Pads Regularly: Inspect for cuts, abrasions, or debris after each hike.

Use Paw Balm: Apply a protective paw balm before hitting the trails to create a barrier against rough surfaces and extreme temperatures.

Consider Booties: Invest in quality dog booties to protect against hot pavement, rocky terrain, and icy conditions.

Avoid Hot Surfaces: Stick to shaded paths or early morning hikes to prevent overheating their paws.

Monitor Trail Conditions: Avoid very hot or extremely rough trails that could harm your pet’s paws.

Dear Troy & Heights Pet Parents,

After 10 years of building and opening the hospital, I am announcing my retirement and starting my ‘forever vacation’. It has been an incredible journey. I have come to know so many of you personally and had a wonderful time caring for your pets and watching them grow. I have wonderful memories that I will cherish forever.
