Enrichment is so important for dogs - especially those in a shelter environment.

This gives them the mental stimulation they require to help them satisfy their natural instincts in a nondestructive way.

It also lowers stress and anxiety which can help them feel more comfortable in a strange and new place.

While you are stopping by their shelter with donations, you can also check out the furry friends there to see if they might have a potential new fur family member for you!

We can't often say that four Irish Wolfhounds are in our office at the same time but today was the day! We had a family reunion and just had to take a picture! Look how good those babies are!!

Happy New Year everyone!

A great way to celebrate the new year is by donating to our in house life saving fund for pets in need! If 100 people donate 26 dollars, we will have enough in our fund to save another pet in need of life saving care! If 200 people donate 26 dollars, we can save at least TWO pets in need of life saving care!

Thank you again to everyone who has supported our in house fund and given us the opportunity to safe pets and give owners a second chance with their fur baby.

We will be starting the new year saving yet another life. This baby's story will be featured in the coming weeks.

We are looking for a couple more volunteers to participate in our diagnostic refresh training this Thursday and Friday for CTs and this Saturday for ultrasounds. Happy Thanksgiving Gasow Family! We hope you all had a wonderful day spending time with your pets and families!
We wanted to take a moment to acknowledge that not everyone has the community, resources, or funds that many of us have and this time of year can be especially difficult for many.
Here are some ways that you can use any abundance that you may have been blessed with to help others in your community:
1) Donate items to a shelter or food pantry! We are continuing to collect donations of pet food, litter, or toys for those in need in our community. Once the need of those in our direct community decreases, we will donate all we have built up to a local shelter or rescue.
2) Donate time! Spend some time walking dogs with a local shelter or rescue. Some will even let you take one out and about to give them a change of scenery. This small act can make a huge difference in their life!
3) Donate funds to our life saving, life enhancing fund! We have an in house fund that helps prevent hardship euthanasia. Many pet parents experience medical urgency with their pets and they do not have readily available funds assistant in saving their pet's life. This experience can be traumatic for all involved, especially if a pet's life can be saved with the proper funding. This is where our fund steps in.

We are so thankful for our community and your generosity! Thank you for helping us and those around us care for pets in need!
