Incoming vet bills today... if anyone has a few spare dollars to help with some hay and/or with a gelding vet bill... our small rescue would sure be appreciative. We will post the full bill as soon as we get it, but we're easily looking at a few hundred dollars in gelding fees for the 3 cryptorchids we took in this past year. Alfalfa is currently running $18.75 a bale, Bermuda is running $19.50 a bale. We're feeding 7 bales of hay and 3 bermuda a day right now!! We also are spending $24.50 every 3 days on alfalfa pellets for some of the seniors. To say we could use some community support now more than ever is an understatement.

Small rescues are struggling right now. More and more people are giving up their horses. And more and more burden is being put on small groups trying to keep horses out of the pipeline.

Mass bailers seem to have no issue getting donations. But, the little people like me, we struggle. If you've ever wanted to help a horse in need, why not one you can follow?

This little one deserves a chance. They all deserve a chance. Right now, I could use some donations towards feed. No huge goal. Just a bale or two. Just whatever people can help with. Because helping the little rescues is definitely impactful.
