Rocket Man turned 15 today! Almost totally deaf, with some arthritis in his neck, an enlarged heart along with failing kidneys, I know I will not have him much longer. But in the meantime, my first-ever Coton remains to be the sweetest boy ever and still makes every effort to enjoy each day. Happy Birthday Rocket Man!

“Look Ma! I can swim!” Boulie got a new PFD today so she (hopefully) will learn to be more comfortable in the pool. Our first session went well.

After debating (for years) whether to cut Boulie down, I DID it! She is no longer a show dog, had her babies and is spayed,but had such a big beautiful coat- it seemed part of her personality. Huge decision. Only took 2 days, all 4 episodes of Netflix's Unorthodox, and the entire season 6 of Schitt's Creek! Here is before, during, after:

So many ribbons! Uma received her UKC Champion Certificate in the mail today! With 6 competition wins in 8 shows, "we done good!"

Uma was in 2 AKC sanctioned matches today- her first events w AKC- and was Group I in each event, then Best of Match in the 2nd! So proud of her!!!! She likes to show, and so do I, so it looks like we'll be having some more fun together in the future!

At a UKC Show this past weekend, Raindance Cotons Uma, age 7 months, showed for her first time and garnered 2 Group 4's w 8 dogs in Companion Group on Saturday, then a Group 2 and Group 1 on Sunday! I was so proud of her prancing in the Best in Show competition with the big guys! I had not shown for almost 4 years so it felt good to be back out there! Looking forward to more shows with Uma!

New babies at Raindance born on June 24th! 3 girls and 1 boy from Woodland Cottage Boule de Neige & Lenny Vom Zotteligen Zamperi (aka Boulie & Lenny). This looks to be a wonderful pairing and I look forward to seeing how these beautiful puppies develop.
