Meet Rufus! 😍

🔹 He’s a smart boy who knows some commands and is working on his leash skills.
🔹 Rufus enjoys splashing in pools 💦, running in the yard, and tasting delectable treats! 👅

If you're the energetic, active type who would love some new companionship, Rufus may be the pup for you! This sweet boy is more than ready to leave the shelter and work on his skills in a foster or adoptive home. 🏡

UPDATE: EUTHANIZED 💔 No one came for Kilo! 😭

Kilo update: So far, there has been no interest in Kilo. 💔 His deadline is tomorrow 1/31.

Helping Orphaned Mutts Succeed will offer its $500 training stipend and a $1,000 care package stipend to Kilo’s adopter, amounting to $1,500 in total. The adoption care package can be used for things like toys, food, medical supplies, and whatever else his adopter needs to help him in his new home. If you can help Kilo please come to PACC immediately. ‼️

UPDATE 1/23/24: Milo is safe in foster care! ❤️🙌🏽 Thank you to his foster family for stepping up to save his life.

Urgent 🚨‼️ Milo needs our help! His deadline is rapidly approaching — this Wednesday, 1/24/24, only two days left! Milo is waiting at Pima Animal Care Center. We urge you to read through his notes. If you're in a position to help him, please come to the shelter immediately. Additionally, a $500 training grant is available for the person who adopts Milo thanks to Helping Orphaned Mutts Succeed.

1/23 UPDATE: Milo is SAFE in foster!

Meet Milo. This big puppy is in urgent need of a lifeline.

Milo is an affectionate, smart dog who loves car rides, walks, pools, and his people, always choosing to be at your side. One former owner reported that he LOVES Taylor Swift, calming down immediately when he hears her songs. He has gotten along with both big and small dogs.

Milo is also a young, energetic dog who hasn't had much stability in his short life. As a result, he hasn't received the kind of training, structure, and patience a puppy needs, which has landed him in trouble and in urgent need of a home.

This smart, affectionate young boy has so much potential, and we know that Milo will thrive with a family who is willing to commit to him and help him be the best boy he can be. Unfortunately, with our current capacity crisis, he cannot get the kind of support he needs in the shelter environment. Milo is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and free to adopt. He must find a foster OR adoptive home by 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24th. Please come to PACC ASAP if you can help this deserving boy.
