Run to the rescue and peace will follow. Grayson the turkey we rescued in thanksgiving still walks around happily and we feel his love and peace. A life for a soon forgotten meal is just not worth it.

Witnessing the journey of these two babies as they flourish in a nurturing environment filled with love and empathy has brought immense happiness. It is truly heartwarming to witness Mama G, who was rescued from a past of exploitation, bred purely for profit, and separated from all her previous offspring, now being able to raise her young and remain by their side. 💕✨🐐🐐🐐🌿

I listen to my chicken
as she sings her cheerful song.
I’m tickled with my turkey
as he gobbles right along.

My duck sings so delightfully.
I love my rooster’s rap,
and when my Cornish game hen croons
it makes me want to clap.

I give my goose a gander
and I giggle as she chimes,
for when it comes to poultry
I prefer the kind that rhymes.

This handsome boy was rescued right on time before he became someone’s dinner. He knows he is safe with us and he is following us all around. Turkeys are intelligent, curious, beautiful and love to be loved by humans. He is our friend not food.
