Our sweet puppy, Shania had a baseball size lump pop up on the side of her neck this weekend ☹️ she is currently being seen at Catoosa Small Animal Hospital to find out what’s wrong 🥺🥺

Our vet bills are already extremely high and we could really use some help covering this unexpected appointment if you’re able 🙏

☀️ Lazy Saturday Lollipop Update! ☀️

Just look at this little diva soaking up the weekend vibes, stretched out in her fluffy bed, diaper and all, being the definition of unbothered. 😆🍭

Lollipop has come such a long way! Her foster mom has done an incredible job nursing her back to health, she’s put on a few pounds, filling out so nicely, and her latest bloodwork came back almost normal! 🙌

She’s happy, healthy, and thriving, proof that love, good care, and a soft bed can work miracles. 💕

We’re so proud of this sweet girl and so thankful to everyone who’s rooted for her along the way. ❤️

Mister update 💔🐾

We were finally able to break Mister out of the shelter yesterday, and he made it to the vet first thing this morning. Unfortunately, our sweet old man tested heartworm positive.

Despite the diagnosis, Mister is in great spirits and soaking up all the love and comfort he’s been missing. ❤️

If you’d like to pitch in toward his medical treatment and help us get this gentle soul healthy again, we’d be so grateful. Every bit makes a difference for dogs like Mister who deserve a second chance at a happy, healthy life.

💔🐾 We Desperately Need Help. Our Food Bins Are Empty Again 🐾💔

This is one of those posts we never like to make… but we’re completely out of dog food.

Right now, we have over 80 hungry mouths depending on us, and our bins are bare.

The current dog food shortage isn’t just affecting our OPCS pups, it’s also impacting the community dogs we help. We have families who come to us desperate for food to feed their dogs, but if we can’t even feed our own, we have nothing left to share.

👉 Dry dog food is desperately needed.

For our facility dogs, it’s very important that they stay on the same brand of food whenever possible (Purina One). Sudden changes can cause upset stomachs and diarrhea, which not only makes our dogs miserable, but also creates a huge mess for our volunteers who clean up after them every day. 😷

We can, however, accept any brand of dog food for our community outreach program, those dogs don’t have to be quite as selective, and every bag helps us feed more pets in need.

Every single scoop of food means a full belly, a wagging tail, and another day of hope for a dog who’s already been through too much. 🐶❤️

We need a foster or foster to adopt ASAP! 

Meet Chubbs! 🐷

Chubbs is a 2½-year-old purebred FAWN Frenchie who snorts like a chainsaw, farts like it’s his superpower, and wobbles through life with the confidence of a sumo wrestler in a kiddie pool.

He’s a ball of energy (round being the key word here, Chubbs is currently working on slimming down his “dad bod”). Don’t let that squishy face fool you though, he can zoom across a room faster than you can say “expensive vet bill.”
And don’t let those short legs fool you either, Chubbs can jump higher than your last electric bill!

Chubbs is looking for an experienced Frenchie human who understands that with great cuteness comes great financial responsibility. 💸

If you’ve got the patience, the pocketbook, and a strong sense of humor, Chubbs just might be your snorty soulmate. ❤️🐾

He is 35 lbs and not neutered yet, so will have to be a foster to adopt. He is dog, cat, and kid friendly!

UPDATE: Mister is safe! You all are amazing! 🫶

💔 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR MISTER. 💔

We need a miracle, and we need it now.

Mister has already been granted extra time at Tulsa Animal Services, narrowly escaping euthanasia once… but his luck is running out. He’s out of time again and needs a safe place to go ASAP.

This sweet 9 year old boy doesn’t deserve to die simply because there’s nowhere for him to go. He’s been waiting patiently, still full of love and hope, even as the days pass by in a loud kennel.

Please, if you’ve ever thought about fostering, now is the time. We’ll cover all of his vetting and supplies; you just provide a safe space and a little love.

He’s out of options unless someone steps up.

🚐🐾 Animal lovers! 🐾🚐

It’s been a while since we’ve done our own transports, and we’re excited to start doing them again to help get more of our dogs moved!

We’re looking for two drivers to help with a small transport of 10–15 dogs heading up north to Minnesota on Friday, November 15th at 8PM!

This is an incredibly rewarding trip, helping sweet pups get one step closer to their forever homes! 💕

What’s covered by OPCS:
✅ Bus & fuel
✅ Food
✅ 1-night hotel stay (if needed)

At least one driver must have prior experience transporting animals, but both must love dogs, be reliable, and ready for a heartfelt adventure!
