Yay! Sweet Jingle nabbed a puppy foster spot with one of our awesome foster fams ! He is still available for adoption, but will be safe and sound with puppy pros until his fur-ever home comes along! 🙂

We still need a foster-to-adopt or adopter for sweet Rudy!!! Look at this babe! He’s a bit bigger now, but just as adorable. 🐾

This guy would love someone kind and patient who is not gone for long hours to help him grow up into the best good boy! A friend would be fabulous, too! ❤️ He deserves a home where he can be loved, adored, cuddled, loved, adored…. You get the picture 😉

Lil Mama is perking up post spay! She was extra lucky because her tech for the surgery was an awesome animal lover/expert named Emily. 🐾❤️

Confession… her foster mom thought Emily was a vet student or a vet for quite some time because of how articulate and educated she is regarding animals! 🙂

Thanks to everyone at Forest Trails Animal Hospital for taking such great care of Winnie!

No more babies for this gal, time for her to enjoy being pampered! ❤️❤️

Poor Rudy and J!!! They really both need a forever home.

For now, they would love to find a foster home with 1 or 2 patient dog friends and a human or humans with some extra time at home to work with them !! 🙂

Winnie update! She’s doing well, stuck like glue to her “other puppy”. 🤣 She keeps taking his collar off and trying to groom him, so that’s been adorable. He is surprisingly okay with it. He’s a stage 5 clinger, it so works out well.

Mom Winnie is a bit stir crazy, and is bored of her toys and chews at the moment… so I have been giving her cardboard things out of recycling. Cardboard is her FAVORITE thing ever. She loves frozen treats, too. It takes variety sometimes.

She is a funny girl 🙂 she also loves to find hazelnuts in our lawn (squirrel planted) and play with them! She has a big personality, and is just the best good girl.

The puppy’s mom is keeping busy to help manage missing the pups. Quite a few new patients this weekend 🙂 the most unusual being a leucistic opossum! Very rare for us to get in rehab, so always a big exciting thing!

Baby animals are amazing things; whatever the species 😍 we love them all at our house!

Buddy and Nick’s stories are two fairy “tails” ❤️

These two guys are completely different! They may share DNA, but I swear that Buddy is a Pyr and Nick is a Lab now!!

Buddy LOVES snow. ❄️ he’s not meant for Oklahoma! Low and behold, when his amazing new mom brought him home.. the skies obliged and granted him his favorite weather! Buddy is very busy exploring his new home and bonding with his new big sis, a beautiful Pyrenees to teach him the ways of Pyr life. Perfect! You can see the smile on this guy’s face; he is one happy pup!

Nick is busy, and so into running, leaping and playtime! He has amazing parents who are experts at these activities, and a new big sis named Paige! He is learning big exciting things like fetch and how to chase frisbees. He has so many cozy beds and always looks so happy and relaxed in his updates from his mom.

Mom update!!! Winnie seems to have some natural abilities as a cutting horse 🤣 she practiced on her foster mom, we think she could go far in the backyard rodeo world herding humans ! 😉

Buddy size update…..

This guy rocked the scale at 32.8lbs as of today 😱

So I’m not saying that he is a polar bear 🐻‍❄️ …. buuuut….. I’ll just let you make that call based on below evidence! 🤣🤷‍♀️

Alternates between standing on two legs and galloping on all fours. Covered in white fur. Lives for snow. Black nose. Giant paws. 🧐🐻‍❄️

J & Rudy PupDates 😍❤️

These babies are loooooving life with their professional puppy foster mom, Celeste! We split up puppies into pairs after they wean so they can go to manners school! Celeste has done an amazing job of teaching these kids how to pose for selfies, take naps in their crate and ring the bell when it is time to water the grass! 😉

Smart kids!! You can tell they are loving 🥰 their lives.

Celeste is our puppy pro. She has the touch. She can tame the wild, but adorable, little beasties we get in as feral pups and takes care of dogs with special orthopedic issues… sometimes her patients stay for life! We call that “foster fail”, but it’s definitely a win for the dogs who get to have a happily fur-ever after in her home! ❤️❤️ Celeste and her mom are Pyrenees experts, they’re amazing members of the rescue community in our region. 🎉❤️

These big guys each weighed close to 30lbs today!! They’ve doubled their weight in the last month and are on track to be giant/XXL dogs. ❤️🐶

Nick is vocal and the more cuddly of the two. Nick has big emotions and adorably strong opinions. Buddy doesn’t always know what’s happening, but he’s happy to follow along with whatever everyone else is doing.

Buddy loooooves belly rubs and still makes his “oink oink” puppy sound when he gets treats 🤣🐶

Nick will walk into the kitchen and sit randomly… then stare at me like “Moooommmm?” because he has realized that if he puts his wagging half on the ground, sometimes he gets yummy treats!

Nick was SOOOO proud of himself today 🤣

This cutie pie is going to his new mom, Caryn Partch Boshears, soon. ❤️🐶

He told me he hopes she has yummy treats and all the paper towels. I told him to focus on the treats, and to stay away from paper products! 🤣

I am quite desensitized to animal messes at this point in life. I have many moons of raising raccoons and squirrels in my wildlife rehab role, and I promise you nothing makes a mess quite like a raccoon! Puppies don’t seem so bad after that ha! 😉

So the pups are doing great! I need to catch up. But I’m spending a lot of time trying to keep up with them! 🤣

Today I left the pantry door open and stepped away…. They discovered the joy of paper towels!!!! Ha! They were SO happy and SO proud. Like “Mom!!! I did this!! Isn’t it awesome?”

Too funny.

Winnie has grown quite fond of our Chi-mix and our scaredy cat during the pup transition time.

I can’t say the feelings are mutual, but they’re slowly coming around to accepting her love and devotion 🤣 We have 2 cats and 2 dogs who are permanent fur kids. They’re very used to animals coming and going, so it usually isn’t too tricky to integrate new pack members during foster stays.

Winnie is loving her puppy playmates! The dynamic has changed a lot since the pups are weaned and doing big kid things. Winnie is just a big puppy herself, so she makes for a great friend for the pups to party with! 😉

Hi Pup People!!!! Rudy the “runt” here!!

We had a brief absence due to our mom having to take care of a human patient. But she kept that camera rolling, and rolling, and rolling…. So just wait for it and she will get some awesome videos and pics posted soon!

We’ve all been great.… our mom says all we do is eat, sleep, chew on things and then do the opposite of eat. That may be true, but she doesn’t know we are actually planning on NBA careers. What else would we do with legs this long? 😉

The pups went to the vet today!! ❤️🥰 these are 3 of the awesome techs showing off how big the pups are!!

These giant babies are doing well, our only homework is to keep up the wormer and keep working on Buddy’s hips.

I’m amazed, too… . No 💩 in the car… no 💩 at the vet… they waited until they got home! It was an absolutely Christmas miracle. I’ve never been so relieved! 🤣
