I started my journey in the pet care industry as a dog bather at a boarding/grooming shop in Texas, where I worked for three years. During that time, I had the privilege of working with rescue dogs from local organizations. Each dog had a unique story, and many had faced significant challenges, including abuse, neglect, and health issues. Despite the ups and downs, my time there was incredibly rewarding and shaped my approach to grooming. After reassessing my career path, I decided to dive into dog grooming. What began as a way to spend more time with dogs and earn some extra money quickly turned into a passion. Over the past three years, I've dedicated myself to becoming the best groomer I can be. I've learned from experienced groomers with over 20 years of expertise, gaining valuable knowledge about skin and coat health, product selection, and identifying and addressing various skin issues. This year (2024), I attended an educational seminar where I participated in over 10 different classes focused on gentle handling and making dogs both beautiful and comfortable. I plan to continue my education by attending seminars annually. Additionally, I am trained in pet first aid and CPR, so you can rest assured that your pup is in good and gentle hands. 🐾❤️
