We are going to be doing trail rides on Sundays at 1pm. You MUST have an appointment. We have limited horses because of our horses size or age. So when you make an appointment you will be assigned a horse for those reasons.

Hey there, Emily is trying to put together a Halloween costume party for kids that came to camp or are in lessons. Make a costume for your horse and yourself at our farm. It's RSVP so we'll know which horses are available. Please contact us ASAP. She is aiming for the 27th. For more information send me a message.

Looking for input! I have someone possibly interested in collaborating with me on doing higher levels of lessons, as well she's certified for therapeutic riding etc. Wondering how many people might be interested if we did do this. Prices would most likely increase for these services. Thoughts...

Week 3, Tuesday... quite a rainy day. Brought the horses in that we hoped to ride if it stopped raining. Did lots of grooming and drying this morning. Then we let them eat hay and relax while we worked on anatomy of the horse. After working on that and waiting for the rain to let up... they worked on some crafts and some cleaning of the barn. Still raining.. went and used what was learned with the anatomy and actually find the parts a one of the horses. Finally the rain stopped enough to ride in 2 separate groups. Learned to pass going opposite directions. Then after feeding them dinner they had a few minutes to take them out and graze. Even in the rain we had a great day, lots of laughs and learning.

Week 3!! Monday. Started right out meeting the new campers this week and then right into grooming, tacking and riding. We made edible horse treats, painted some fun rocks. Played a exercise game with bridles and bits showing the kids what it would feel like having a bit in your mouth and being tugged on and confusing messages. Fed the horses their dinner, great day!

Week 2, Friday. Yeah I know I'm a little behind 😆. We had a great week. Started out grooming, tacking and heading out to ride. Rode in the ring for a little then out for the longest trail ride this week. Finished our horse pots from earning pieces through trivia questions. Did some painting stones. After they hated to waste the paint so kayden let them paint his lawn mower. Cleaned and filled water buckets before having watermelon and feeding the horses dinner. Great day. The Last picture.. "I spy one little eye that doesn't belong".

Week 2, Thursday. Started today grooming and tacking up 8 out of 9 of our horses. Clever didn't get to go because of his sore foot. Then the 8 of them went out on the trail, the longest trail yet for them.. so happy with all the kids and horses!!! This afternoon we painted stones to leave in our favorite places or bring home. Then we practiced some levitation that I learned many years ago from one of our campers had fathers. Ask your kiddos about it! Jesse has been learning to trim their feet. He of course decided to give dozer a try. He did amazing, still learning though. I'm proud of his effort to work on this as part of his carrier choice. Another amazing day.

Then we did a scavenger hunt with different pieces of tac. Had a big watermelon before feeding them dinner! Awesome day again!

Hey everyone! Wanting to fill everyone in on things happening. First off we will be offering some on farm leases to individuals that would like to be able to ride more than we can offer. If you want more info please pm me. People may wonder why this change. I am having to go in for a spinal fusion revision. The original screws have moved ( I knew I had a few screws loose 😆). So lessons and trail rides will be limited, although we have come up with ways for individuals to continue what they are doing. With all this we are in desperate need of help with horse hay for the winter. With all the flooding our hay person just hasn't been able to get horse hay dried. I have set up go fund me in the past, most people don't like giving to those things. We are taking and asking for donations so we will be able to continue with our 501c3 and help people and horses. We have venmo and will announce donations if people would like. We have downsized so that will help us a little. But please if you can help us we would be greatly appreciative.
