Pheasant season is coming..
Last year I had a wild idea and no idea what to expect. This year I can’t wait to get back out in the fields. Not only do I love how two things I enjoy so much collide in the upland hunts, but the stories that can be told between the owners, the dogs, the hunt, the friends, it just gets me excited to be able to tell it for them in a special way.

I will never tell you not to put up more photos of your dogs. You should put up as many as you’d like. Big ones, small ones, every room. And when I come over I’d like to see all of them. I’d also like to hear about how they are the goodest boy or girl.

I got to spend some time last weekend with Billy. He is a long time resident of Griffin Pond Animal Shelter. He is on the hunt for his permanent home, and honestly if you don't consider him you are fur sure missing out. This handsome lug is a pleasure to be around. He was thrilled to be able to get out and get loved on for a bit.

Billy did great on a leash around other dogs, but is a bit strong and he prefers to be the only dog in the house as he does like to have his space. He seems to love people and will take pets from anyone he meets.

If you've been considering a dog I highly urge you to take a chance on Billy, I don't think you will regret it.

I need some help!

I would love to meet and get to know some other dog related business owners. I’ll be honest though, truth is I am actually rather shy and socially awkward (that one’s not surprising anyone I’m aware).

I’d also like to make a special offer to any local businesses that might be interested in leveling up some of their in store artwork.

MYTH: Your dog won’t cooperate for a session.
REALITY: Dogs are dogs, I don’t expect them to cooperate. In fact I plan for them not to cooperate. And I’m still confident we can create beautiful portraits with them.

If we get to your viewing appointment and you’re not happy with your portraits I will refund your session fee. Easy as that.

I ran into this absolutely adorable girl during today’s session and couldn’t resist saying hello and getting a quick shot with her. Come to find out she’s a little bit of a local celebrity back home!
