🚨 Heat Stroke in Pets: What You Need to Know 🚨

As the temperatures rise, so do the risks for our furry friends. Dogs and cats can’t cool down like we do, and heat stroke can happen faster than you think — even in the shade or on a quick walk.

⚠️ Warning Signs of Heat Stroke:

Excessive panting or drooling

Difficulty breathing

Weakness or collapse

Vomiting or diarrhea

Bright red gums or tongue

Glassy eyes or unresponsiveness

🐾 Prevention Tips:

Never leave pets in a parked car — even for a minute

Always provide shade and fresh, cool water

Avoid outdoor activity during peak heat (10am–4pm)

Walk your dog early in the morning or later in the evening

Keep indoor spaces cool and well-ventilated

If you suspect your pet is suffering from heat stroke, move them to a cooler area immediately and call your veterinarian or emergency clinic. Fast action can save lives!

It’s been a buzzing week around here! 🐝 We kicked things off by celebrating Dr. Ganas’ birthday — and over the years, we’ve been lucky to celebrate many with her. Each one is a sweet reminder of how grateful we are to have her on our team. 💙
