Okay this is a long one, I apologize ahead of time…

I’m here to set the record straight. As many of you have recently heard I am working on relocating my shop to Southern Oklahoma. I am currently here in California and plan to be for the next several months working through my backlog. I am currently behind schedule as many of you are well aware of but I am doing my level best to get everyone taken care of as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality. There was a recent post with some false claims regarding my work and my moving in a FB forum that caused some concern amongst my clientele, I would hope that those of you that know me would know that I am not and would never leave in an unprofessional way and that everyone who has brought me work will get it back when complete. Also the insinuation that I am ignoring or not communicating with my clients is inaccurate, I’m an easy person to get in touch with, if you have questions or concerns pick up the phone. I appreciate everyone’s patience, just remember quality taxidermy takes time and there is no substitute for the time spent on each mount. I believe my clients come to me for the quality not my turnaround time so bear with me and I assure you you will get back a trophy you can be proud of.

So impressed and proud of my wife for this… she finally got on the board and harvested her first boar! She’s had her hands full being an incredible mother/wife/teacher/housecleaner,cook/chauffeur/etc. for some years now but this year for her b-day she asked me if we could put together a pig hunt, of course how could I pass that up!?! We planned it, everything worked out perfectly, the pigs cooperated like they were supposed to, she made an excellent shot, and the icing on the cake was my two oldest daughters were able to be a part of the whole thing! Thanks again for helping to make it happen, we’ll have to do this again!

!!!Announcement!!!
My books are officially completely closed as of a few days ago. I won’t be accepting any new work for the time being. A big thanks to everyone who supported Black Oak Artistry this year by bringing in your animals! Now it’s time to focus all of my time and attention on getting those mounts finished and out the door. If you’re on the list, rest assured that I will get to your mount and each one will be handled with the same dedication and attention to detail… please be patient with me, this is an art and art done well takes time.
