We have been seeing a lot of itchy dogs this time of year! Just like people, dogs can be allergic to various allergens in the air or in their food. The age of onset is generally between 6 months and 3 years. Signs are usually seasonal but may be seen all year with itching being the most common sign. The feet, face, ears, and abdomen are the most frequently affected areas, but scratching all over the body is common. We have several options of treatment for allergies in dogs! Let us know how we can help your pet feel their best!

🎆Fireworks aren't always fun for our pets🎆
With the 4th of July approaching quickly some animals may need a little help to calm their anxiety! If your pet is nervous around loud noises a short term sedative, such as Acepromazine, before the fireworks start may be ideal. For a more natural option we also have a product called Zylkene to help with stress and anxiety!

✨ATTN: LARGE ANIMAL CLIENTS✨
Starting this June all antimicrobials will be leaving the farm/feed store shelves! No need to panic! These medications will still be available, just through prescription only. We will have to form a Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship with you to be able to write a prescription, contact us today to start yours!
This includes:
LA-200/300
Noromycin
Vetramycin
Duramycin
Terramycin
Draxxin
Penicillin
Tylan
ToDay
TomMorrow
and many other commonly used livestock antibiotics.

This is being put into effect to combat drug resistance to ensure that we still have effective medication for years to come! Call 405.362.9610 with any questions.

Why Spay and Neuter?
🐾 Descreases Overpopulation
An unaltered dog can have 2 litters a year typically with 6-10 puppies per litter and an unaltered cat can have 3 litters a year normally producing 3-6 kittens per litter.

🐾 Reduces Spraying and Marking
Male cats are less likely to spray urine to mark their territory.

🐾 Reduces Roaming
Less desire to roam, therefore less likely to be injured in fights or get lost. 85% of dogs hit by cars are unaltered males.

🐾 Increases Lifespan
Canines' lifespan is increased by 1-3 years while Felines are increased by 3-5 years.

🐾 Reduces Aggression
Neutered dogs are less likely to exhibit aggressive behaviors, including biting and fighting with other pets.

🐾 Lowers Risk of Cancers
Males - risk of testicular cancer is eliminated and the risk for prostate disease is decreased.
Females - risk of mammary gland tumors, pyometra infections, and ovarian/uterine cancer is reduced significantly. Especially if spayed before their first heat cycle.

💕Help your pets live a longer and healthier life💕
