International Miniature Rodeo Association



We would like to introduce you to the International Miniature Rodeo Association (IMRA) an organization designed to promote young people 18 years and younger in the rodeo sport. The association consists of members in five different age groups: 5 & under, 6-7, 8-11, 12-14 and 15-18. We have 4 rodeo events for everyone to compete in including: Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc, Ba****ck and Barrel Racing.

The IMRA was founded in 2017 by two dedicated rodeo contractor enthusiasts with the desire to promote the development of sportsmanship, horsemanship, and character in the youth of our country. The IMRA works diligently to promote these rodeo athletes throughout the country. Members come from all over the country, as far as California, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Illinois, Louisiana, Iowa, Idaho, Oregon and many other states. All qualifying rodeos will take place from Canada to Texas. The IMRA rodeo year is from January through December, with finals taking place in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma prior to the International Finals Rodeo (IFR 49) in January 2020. Since its inception, 2017, the finals has grown from first year finalists of approximately 140, to last years count of well over 400. As new territories that have been added, the qualifiers for this year will exceed 800. With a growth to exceed well over 1,500 for the 2020 season.

 23 time World Champion Ba****ck, Saddle Bronc and All Around Champion, Shawn Minor  World Champion Ba****ck Rider/IPRA Ba****ck Riding Director, Josh Cragar  World Champion Saddle Bronc Rider/IPRA Saddle Bronc Riding Director, Shawn Prater  3 time NFR Bull Riding qualifier, Mike Moore  8 time World Champion Ba****ck Rider/IPRA Chief Field Rep, Ronnie Williams  International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA)  International Finals Youth Rodeo, largest youth rodeo finals (IFYR)  Missouri Rodeo Cowboys Association (MRCA)

At the IMRA finals, contestants with the highest placing by accumulated points will receive prize money and other trophy prizes, throughout the four rounds at the finals in all the events and age groups. The world champion will be crowned during the IFR49 and awarded the championship awards.
