December-January Kc's Agility Dates
NEW CLASS OFFERING ->

Kc's Agility will be having a NEW class offering in January. We will host a few skills and drills classes that will focus on the small details you need to complete successful courses (handling moves, wraps, backsides, discrimination challenges, weave entries, distance, planning your lines, etc). These will be perfect for those who are someday interested in competing with their dogs and are looking for those small details that make a BIG difference on the course. Contact me with any questions on this! These classes also open to anyone who took my intro to agility class.

SCHEDULE ->
We need a minimum of 2 dogs to run each of these club/exercise dates. 2 dogs we will run for 45 minutes, 3 or more we will do an hour. Club dates have a [C] next to them, skills/drills classes will have an [S] by them

Club and exercise classes are $120 for a 4 pack (must be used within 5 weeks) or $35 per drop in class

What's to come for agility club in Jan?!

We are so excited about agility club for the month of January because we are going to be learning all about the different games you find at NADAC and CPE trials! These courses are FUN and have different challenges about each of them. Read more about the different games here:

We will be offering agility club on Sundays and potentially a weeknight as well (times TBD) depending on interest. Let me know if you want your dog to participate! Open to anyone who has completed my intro to agility class :)

🌟NEW INTRO CLASS DATES 🌟
THIS CLASS IS FILLED! We are taking a list of people who might be interested in a 4-5pm intro class on Sundays starting 1/5. Message me if you are interested!

We are excited to announce our next round of classes for intro to agility starting in January! This is a 4 week session that will introduce your dog to the obstacles of agility. The cost is $120/dog. The dates will be Sunday 1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26 at 3pm. This will be a 1 hour group class. Message me today to sign up!

Just looking to get an idea so I can start scheduling classes for January. How do Sundays work for people who are interested in classes with me? Whether you are looking for private lessons, intro to agility, or agility club. Would love to get feedback if this might work for people. Times would be mid afternoon to early evening. Thanks!

They did it! Congratulations to our newest graduates of entry level agility- Suri, Kimber, Gingerbread, and Rosie! So proud of you all! 😊👩‍🎓
These pups are now all eligible for our agility club! Our club is an on going program we offer year round that gets into handling techniques, agility challenges, and so much more. We are currently running that club on Monday nights but plan to add another day depending on interest. Keep the fun of agility going all the time!

⭐️ BIG NEWS! ⭐️
Kc’s Agility is very excited to announce our upcoming seminars and classes with Jill Tice of En-TICE-ing agility. Jill is coming to us all the way from upstate NY. This will be an awesome opportunity you don’t want to miss out on!

Jill Tice has over 25 years experience competing in agility. Shortly after being introduced to the sport Jill began teaching classes in her community for local agility enthusiasts.

Jill has attended continuing education programs taught by nationally recognized experts in the sport of agility and dog training. The seminars and workshops offered her the opportunity to further her skills and bring new training techniques to her students. Over the years she has participated in workshops given by such experts as Gary Wilkes, Stuart Mah and Patti Hatfield. In addition, she has attended a number of Clean Run Camps where she was introduced to various training approaches and techniques taught by accomplished competitors such as Nancy Gyes, Rachel Sanders, Susan Garrett, Jen Pinder, Elicia Calhoun and Wendy Pape.

There are a number of associations/organizations offering agility competitors the opportunity to compete for titles. Jill’s expertise and accomplishments include titling in USDAA, AKC,CPE,UKC and NADAC events. In addition, Jill’s experience competing with a number of purebred and mixed breed dogs has given her great insight into how different dogs learn and how this affects their performance on the agility course.

These classes will be held in Tyrone. Either at our indoor facility or outdoor yard (weather dependent). Both locations within a few miles of each other.

Walking your dog and participating in dog sports is healthy for you and your pet. A bonus is meeting and spending time with people who enjoy the same doggy activities that you do.

We are now taking signups for our LAST entry level agility program for 2024. Classes will start Wednesday November 13th at 7:30pm and will run for 4 weeks. This will be the last opportunity to get into one of our entry level programs before the end of the year. Let us know if you want a spot!

I’m back!
We are back from our big trek to Wyoming and I just wanted to give an update on next week’s classes:
-On October 14th we will have agility club at 6:30pm. That is full
-Wednesday October 16th at 6:30pm will start our intro to agility classes. 4 weeks. This class is full.
-Unless I get last minute sign ups I will NOT be running the 7:30pm class that day as I did not get enough sign ups.
-Starting October 21st and onward we will have agility club at 6:30pm and 7:30pm. These are also all full.

Looking forward to seeing you all next week!
