Wow, what an amazing night for our senior showmen!! They all worked so hard and their dedication and effort showed through. Congrats to our Supreme Champion Madisyn Henderson and Reserve Supreme Dane Luppnow!! Other participants included Emily Stoffel, Shannon Roberts, Josiah Johnson, and Lillian Nelson.

Congratulations to these Racine County youth for exhibiting breed and overall Champions at the Wisconsin State Fair. They sold their animals in the Governor’s Blue Ribbon Auction on Wednesday night & spent the weekend in the Camp of Champions sharing their livestock knowledge with fair goers.

Follow along for tips from some great clinicians & judges!

May is Showmanship month as we gear up for summer shows. Each week day in May we will be posting a showmanship tip to help you make the most of your time leading up to the show.

Remember just fifteen minutes of practice a day is great if possible. The key is to practice when the showman and the animal are both going to benefit from it. If all parties are hot, tired and hungry, not a lot of good is going to come from it.

Be sure to look for your showmanship tips on these days!

Monday - Cattle
Tuesday - Sheep
Wednesday - Goats
Thursday - Dairy
Friday - Hogs

We are looking for a individual that has interest in working at our Donor Housing Facility and at Henning Farms. Someone who is interested in learning about IVF and Conventional flushing. Working with Recip protocols and ET work.

At Henning Farms, helping at the show barn. Halter breaking sale calves, washing and blowing. Everyday herd health, setting up and ET work every week.
