Hello! My name is Suzanne Bousquet and my love and passion for horses has become a full time dream career. Since I was young, I have helped care for a variety of horses. More than a handful were boarded by Nicholas Villa at Nicholas Villa Stables in Union, Ct. After many summer days and quiet nights taking
care of these horses while Nicholas was attending horse shows I have been given the opportunity to board out some stalls in Union, Ct. at Nicholas Villa Stables.
My love of horses all began when I was five after watching the movie “National Velvet.” Still to this day I love watching it! When the movie ended I quickly ran to my parents and begged them for riding lessons. Soon after that my life long dream of riding and working with horses had begun. My husband Mat and I have always talked about naming our horse boarding business “Saddles and Apples Farm LLC.” The name was thought of because we were blessed with over a dozen apple trees on our property and saddles was simply for my love of riding and working with horses.
With only one more class to take I will have my degree in Equine Studies and Business Management through the University of Ohio. While raising our three kids and attending classes, it feels good to almost reach my goal. Now its time for my next chapter in continuing my dreams of having my own Equine boarding facility.
