Doggy daycare fun went to the wild side last week. It’s not even that warm out but that didn’t stop Kia’i from starting a pool party in the water trough. Time to drain the water and start again. In all seriousness though these dogs always surprise me!

Two weeks ago we welcomed 2 new daycare dogs to our big dog crew. Meet Kia’i (keeahh eee) a Malamut mix that has the energy of 10 dogs! She is still a puppy so she is having a blast with our foster pups! She had a soft fuzzy coat with one eye blue and one eye brown. She’s an escape artist so she keeps me on my toes!

Maza is Kia’i big sister and basically the queen of the castle. She is a Chow Chow who runs the daycare with an iron paw. She has patience with the foster pups and her annoying little sis. She is so fluffy and magnificent in her own way. Her favorite thing is snoozing in the shade in the afternoon. She also loves following her auntie around the yard while I garden. Did you know Chow’s have bluish blackish tongues?

Last Wednesday I met two ridiculously cute schnauzers. They invaded our in-home small dog daycare for a test run. Jack is charming with his baby blue peepers - but don't let those eyes fool you, he's a little ball of energy who'll steal your heart before you can blink! Amber is stunning, friendly, and playful- what more could you ask for?! Welcome to our retreat family. 😍

Love is in the air at the pup retreat. Toby met Cali and he's totally paws-itively smitten by her beauty. He's having a doggone good time running with her but wishes his legs were longer. Look at this stunning couple of pups! Will their love endure? Or are they trying to order dog treats from Chewy? 🤔

Our courageous pup, Graham, got adopted, a testament to the power of resilience. Looking at him now, you wouldn’t know that he was once the smallest pup, a reminder that growth is always possible. His new family fell deeply in love with his snuggly charm, embracing him with open hearts. He ran up to his new dad to say, “I belong with you, take me home,” a heartfelt declaration of his desire for a forever home. His new name is Tucker, a fitting tribute to his adventurous spirit. Isn't it amazing? My number one boy got adopted! Triscut found his family quickly. He made a great first impression by being extra friendly which is how he rolls! I’m not gonna lie, it was hard to let go of this howling sweetheart. My heart is full knowing he found a family that is perfect for him. The bond between them was immediate. He is now called, Copper. Congrats to Copper and his new family that howls with him! Ahhrooooo😊

Our cracker pup, Goldfish got adopted! Her new family met her and knew in less than 5 minutes that she was the one, and it's truly a testament to the power of love at first sight. I mean with a heart shape nose and beautiful brindle and white markings it wasn’t hard to fall deeply in love. She has been renamed Misty. A huge congratulations to Misty and her new family as they embark on an incredible journey together!

We’ve had an incredible journey over the last 25 days. I'm thrilled to share the updates! The first exciting news is that most of the cracker pups have found their forever homes. Club has discovered his soulmate family and has been officially named Odin! A powerful name for a stunning brindle pup with a soft coat that radiates like fire in the sun. For this family, it was love at first sight! Congratulations to Odin and his family. 💜😍

I have fantastic news! Soda has found his forever home with a wonderful family, and it was love at first sight! He showcased his irresistible charm and endearing awkwardness to capture their hearts. As a symbol of his new beginning, his family adorned him with a light blue collar. One of the youngest family members lovingly named him Phineas Theodore King, a name that foretells a life of royalty. I couldn't agree more, this incredible pup is destined for a life of joy and luxury. Congratulations to PTK and his new family!

This sweet girl was born on January 2nd, 2025 with a heart shaped nose! Her name is Goldfish “Goldy”. Her personality is one of a kind. She greets me with affection then wrestles with her brothers. She is healthy, strong and beautiful! You can adopt her through the Mason County Humane Society website. Instead of a bunny how about an Easter dog as a surprise?
