We should be expecting babies in about a week or so! We are lucky enough to have cameras set up to watch the girls and make sure everything is going smoothly. Having cameras accessible has been such a relief when it comes to kidding. I highly recommend investing in cameras as you are able to check up on your animals whenever you want. Keep watching for updates as we get closer!!!

With cold weather coming in we got the goats all situated. Everyone got new bedding and the does got their insulated wall put in. They love this wall because it allows them to still go outside but only through a small opening which keeps it nice and warm. Which will be really good for when babies arrive!!! Only a few more weeks!!!

Last night was a late one. Went up to the house for the night at 11, happen to check the camera right before bed and see a baby on the camera. Went out to assist mom and turns out another doe was also ready to release her hostage. Several hours later we end up with four kids. Three bucks and a doe (doe is black with frosted muzzle/ears) safe to say it was a long night but everyone’s doing well!!

All our our kiddos are doing so well and have taken to the bottle amazingly. We are trying something a little new this kidding season and are bottle feeding all our kids and milking the does. They are starting to get better footing and love to prance around in their pen. They will be available after weaning, we may retain a few kids but are undecided right now.

We are getting closer and closer to babies arriving! With due dates just around the corner the girls have been moved into their kidding pens so we can keep a close eye on them. Keep an eye out for updates. Babies will be available once weaned.

The girls got to enjoy some pumpkins in this beautiful sunshine. Even little Georgia is learning that they are a sweet treat!! Stay tuned for babies updated as well!!

It’s been awhile since we’ve posted but we have some good news!!! We have 6 does bred and should be expecting several babies at the end of December/beginning of January. The video features all of are goats and all our bred does. Can you guess who’s bred?

The babies got a fancy new “toy,” the bottle holder holds 7 bottles which is two short so we will have to make another one. But they have taken to it quickly and drink down there bottles within seconds. Babies will be available once weaned, keep and eye out as we will do spotlight posts!

The babies got to experience being outside for the first time last night. At first they weren’t sure about the grass but after a few minutes they were bouncing off the walls. Babies are available after weaning, private message if interested.

The babies are growing so fast and have developed personalities. They love to have “outdoor” time and race around the barn. Featured is Milkyway (buckskin) and Olive (Holstein looking one).

After trimming up some of our bushes our girls got a special treat. All our goats love to eat the leaves off of this bush so why not spoil them a little!! Even Mr Jersey got to join in on the fun, he’s our brown Swiss steer.

We still have several kids looking for new pastures. All are ADGA registerable, up to date on shots, disbudded/polled and will be available once weaned. Located 20 minutes south of Fort Wayne IN. Private message for more information.
