We would like to introduce the newest to the herd, Wingler Acres Midnight Mayhem!! Mayhem will help to bring width, proper udder confirmation and a level top line to our herd. Not only will he help to improve the herd, he’s just the cutest little guy with striking blue eyes. We can wait to see how he grows and what his kids have to offer. With the weather being so nice this afternoon the babies got to experience being outside the barn for the first time. They were a little skeptical at first but after awhile they were running around playing. The mamas got to spend some time outdoors and play with their herd mates. Chewy is an ADGA registerable buckling who has moonspots and carries the chocolate trait. His sire is Fairland Farm and dam is Wingler Acres. Chewy is disbudded, UTD on vaccines, and will be available once weaned. We considered keeping this little guy, but decided we don’t need to retain any more animals at this time. Maggie is one of our older does who’s freshened with us 3 times and produced 7 kids within those kiddings. She is a great mom and has successfully raised triplets twice. She is looking for new pastures due to no fault of her, the only reason she is looking for new pastures is because we are retaining a doe from her. Last night we had two more does kid. Bambi had a traumatic birth, but all babies are doing well and so is mama. She welcomed three bucklings, with at least two having confirmed moonspots. Georgia welcomed a single doeling. Being a first freshener we were unsure how she would react but she is doing amazing and is going to foster one of the boys from Bambis litter. All mamas and babies are doing well. We have one last doe to kid so keep an eye out!

Last night around 11:30 Isla gave us a big surprise and welcomed two little does. We had been watching one of our other does, Bambi, because she was acting like the next one to kid but we were wrong. We now have 5 healthy babies and are expecting 3 more sometime today based off of how Bambi is acting. Stay tuned! Below are the two newest additions and our next expecting mama.
