Shaving a double coated dog is a no no. You're doing way more harm than good. No matter the season, that coat is used to regulate their body temperature. If you take that away, you take away their protection.

What do you all think of the theme week?! Is it something you would want monthly or bi-monthly? I loved it but it's totally up to you guys!
Also, I will be at Keeping The Faith Animal Shelter and Rescue Center on July 26th for baths and nail trims. ALL money raised goes directly to the shelter! If you would like to book a bath that day, give me a holler. It's going to be a fun day! Food truck, Grease theme, pictures, certificates, leashes, harnesses and collars for sale, Chinese auction, etc... Your pup will be sure to have a great time!!!! Due to the time limit (10-6) short haired dogs would be preferred. It would take too long to do a full blow out and there will be no time for actual grooming. Bath, dry, nails. Let's make this a successful event and don't forget to vote yes or no if you would like the themes to continue! Have a wonderful Sunday 💜💜💜💜

Hey guys!!! Vacation is approaching fast! The building is approaching fast! I want to take a little bit of time to tell you about myself and why I do what I do the way that I do. Keep in mind, everyone is different.
Personally, I prefer to work one on one with my clients. It's less stressful for my clients. I started out grooming almost 15 years ago and that's how I was taught. It stuck with me. I will not book a bunch of dogs in one day just to say I groomed so many dogs in one day. If I need 3 hours for one dog that has a behavioral issue, so be it. A dog that is a senior that needs time, a bigger dog, etc... I WILL take the time. These aren't just dogs/cats to me. They are my family. Their parents are my friends.
I also groom alone. I groom alone because I like my space and my time with the animals. Sometimes less is more.
I love all of you for your support. I'm thankful to have so many of you who understand. ❤️❤️ Let's have a great rest of Bark Wars week!!! 🥰🥰🥰
