🌟 Service K9 in Training Scooper is learning how to press an alarm button to wake his handler! This was his first session with button and he is doing PHENOMENAL! We also ran what the full task looks like for the first time and he nailed it right off the bat! Scooper will soon be able to sound an alarm if his handler does not give him an all clear command! 🌟

Place is such a crucial command for owners to teach our canine counterparts. The command location is picked by the owner ( bed, blanket, spot on couch or even crate as Gulliver has) then held until the break command. Place gives your dog direction when company comes or it’s down time, it can even be life saving if something were to break or spill on the ground and you need to get your pet away to prevent injury! #trainyourdogthursday

Atlas is a anxiety alert and response service dog in training who comes to see us every Tuesday! Prior to starting sessions Atlas pulled very hard and wasn’t able to do a heel, now two weeks in he has a firm grasp and just needs to fix little things in the heel 💚 this team will be life changing to his handler.
💚 Hawk is coming along phenomenally! With just one session he has place command! So proud of this young pup! 💚
