🪿 Chance getting over his fears one goose at a time🪿

The bluegrass state is one of my favorite places to be. It’s so special as I have had some of my most memorable moments behind the scenes of some pretty phenomenal riders at the Kentucky Horse Park for the 5*. Not only do I get to say that, now I also get to say I got to gallop my favorite thoroughbred across the blue grass and show jump in one of the most iconic arenas in our sport. Chance really showed up this week at AECs @useventing . Although not our best dressage test on paper, he came out 110% each day reminding me why we do this. He was so brave and bold cross country only adding a little time to his dressage score. The final day we got the opportunity to show jump in the Rolex stadium (a total pinch me moment) and he came out like a beast. He was so on it. Putting in a double clear round and finishing in 10th after a rather rough few months to get here was more than I could have ever imagined. Again a huge thank you to my parents @clark22471 for driving/flying out with me. @allisonspringereventing for helping us be the best versions of ourselves and believing in us when even I couldn’t. It was also a week of getting to see old friends and make new ones.
