We are Whitney and Shannon, the former owners of Vermont Dog Club, now offering puppy training and boarding in our home! Benjamin. And you will get training too!

Camp Hero is home to Whitney and Shannon, the former owners of Vermont Dog Club, their daughter, Charley, and three dogs: Joey, Cassie, and Mr. It is named after Whitney’s childhood dog, a Springer Spaniel named Hero who was born on Allenholm Farm. After over twenty years in the dog training and care field Whitney and Shannon are now focusing on puppies only! Puppyhood is the most critical time in

a dog’s development and we are here to help you make the most of it! At Camp Hero you can leave your puppy with us for an extended stay while you are away and be sure that your puppy continues to receive all the love and care as if they were in your home with you. We also offer the Super Puppies Program! This is a day program for puppies to play with other pups, participate in socialization activities, and receive training on all things puppy related. We even transport your puppy to Camp Hero for you! We will email you a packet of puppy info on your pup’s first day with us and every fifth day your puppy is with us you will get a training lesson via video to teach you the exercises we are working on, discuss your pup’s progress, and update your training plan. Our home is your pup’s home at Camp Hero. We look forward to being a part of your puppyhood journey!

Camp Hero is wrapping up for the season today and what a glorious day it has been to hang with my band of six! These dogs have kept me laughing on Mondays all winter. As my spring and summer schedule fills up it’s time for me to stop camp for now, but maybe I’ll do a pop up some time this summer! Thanks for trusting me with your pups! ~Whitney

Our friend Lady rejoined Camp today and it’s safe to say she’s having a blast! If you’d like your dog to have this much fun and be a happy and tired dog when they get home, sign them up!
