Hello everyone and welcome to the holidays! We hope your Thanksgiving holiday was full of good food and great company! Once again, our Thanksgiving and Christmas appointments booked up so far in advance that we didn't have time to even send out a warning, so from the bottom of our strange, little hearts: THANK YOU!!

A couple of things have come to our attention recently and we wanted to address them real quick:

First and most importantly, this mystery canine respiratory infection that's going around has not been detected on our property in anyway at this time. We have turned away several dogs in the past two and a half years for having clear signs of sickness and we will continue that practice as needed with this virus. We have 6 personal dogs on this property....trust me, we do not have time to deal with 6 sick dogs! We have quadrupled our cleaning efforts and are doing everything in our power to keep our property clean and clear of anything that could hurt your dog or get them sick. Even still, if you feel the need to cancel your appointment, we totally understand! You know what's best for you and your dog, so please keep them home if it worries you. There's no shame in keeping your best friends as safe as possible!

With the holidays upon us, please remember that we are only two people. We groom a lot of dogs in our 8-9 hour days and can't always guarantee your dog will be done in a certain amount of time. We always work at our quickest but we don't work fast, as fast is not our goal. Good grooms aren't fast and fast grooms aren't good. Or safe! We work as fast as your dog will let us, and that's how we are able to get done quickly while maintaining a good relationship with your pets! So please, be patient. We will always work as quickly as your pets allow us!

However you celebrate, we hope that everyone's holiday season is filled with all the things you enjoy most in the world.....and some marionberry pie!
