New research has shown that flatworms (H. americana) has spread to parts of the Colorado River, putting dogs in Southern California at risk of infection.

Recently our co-owner Shawna completed a rigorous course to become an instructor in pet first-aid and cpr. Last week, 3 of our staff members were trained in a variety of skills related to pet injuries and health incidents. This week, 3 more staff members are being trained. This means our entire staff will be trained! This effort is a part of our commitment to help keep your pets healthy and safe while you are away. Way to go staff and congratulations to Shawna for her new instructor certificate.

We'd like to wish all of our clients and their pets a happy holiday season and a Merry Christmas! We have some more changes coming with a lobby remodel! This will help streamline our operation and also provide a better environment for our cat operation. Unfortunately, this means that we can accept no more cat reservations through the New Year. We will honor those reservations we already have, we just can't take any new ones. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Hello: it is always with reservations that we raise our prices, and we have held out as long as we could. Prices for all services will go up Friday, July 15th. These increases will enable us to continue to bring a better experience to you and your pets. We have an aging facility that needs expensive repairs. We are nearing completion on an extensive back yard project and also have installed two new doors to aid security. A lobby remodel is next. In addition, these new rates will assist us with hiring and keeping a quality staff. We apologize for any inconvenience or hardship this may cause. Progress continues! Some setbacks with supply chain, but we will adapt and overcome! Fencing base/wall has turned the corner and the middle base is forming up. New yard material being laid down and fence posts being placed into block wall.

Work continues today on the all-new back yards at the kennel. Crews dropped the corner of what will be a 4 foot wall today that will set the path for the rest of the wall. On top of the walls will be 5 foot fencing.

We are happy to announce that the complete remodel of our back yards is here! This is where most of the dog business and fun occurs. What is happening? 1.) complete tear-out of old back yards, dirt removal and leveling. 2.) repipe back yard irrigation. 3.) installation of new fencing and gates that will increase dog safety and allow for easier access, 3.) w**d barrier and disinfectant cedar chips laid for the base. This is what things looked like as ground was broken today. Work courtesy of our friends at C&M Landscaping and Excavation.

We are excited to announce two major projects that will enhance our facility for the betterment of service to our customers and the animals in our care.

Very soon, we will redo our backyards to enhance the comfort, cleanliness and safety of the dogs in our care. The project will add new fencing with slats to minimize disruption to dogs as they are outside. In addition, the yards will be leveled, and we will add stone walls with fencing on top to decrease drainage from surrounding properties. Finally, a new cedar chip base will be added over fabric material to keep w**ds at bay and give pups a comfortable and anti-bacterial surface to play on.

Additionally, we will be remodeling the interior of the lobby to decrease noise, increase security, and provide additional privacy for our feline and exotic area.

These changes have been made possible by you, our fabulous customers! We are thrilled that we are at a point, due to your trust in us, where we can reinvest in the facility for you. Thank you! —John and Shawna, Owners.
