Bathing & Grooming may be less stressful for your pet, there are fewer distractions and no other animals present. The grooming vehicle is easily cleaned & sanitized between appointments, making disease & parasite transmission much le
ss likely to occur. The groomer also has fewer distractions, allowing her to learn your pets personality and develop a special bond with them. Because your groomer is close, she will be able to alert you to any issues she finds immediately. Similarly, an emergency situation can be handled safely & expediently with your full knowledge of what is happening. CONVIENCE:
Most appointments will take less than 90 minutes, so you won't be tied up waiting all day for your pet to be done. You don't have to transport your pet any further than your driveway. Rover Made Over offers flexible scheduling, and weekend hours. Walk-up nail trims are available. Nail trim only appointments are available, but require a minimum of 3 nail trims. Nail trims usually will take less than 10 minutes per pet. PORFESSIONALISIM:
I am a Nationally Certified Master Groomer registered with the National Dog Groomers Association of America (NDGAA). I have 22 years experience grooming dogs & cats, and an additional 7 years working in petcare. I've attended myriad training seminars for both grooming technique and pet safety/first aid. I've also been an approved humane investigator for animal welfare & cruelty, I'm very familiar with laws in Illinois contained in the Humane Care for Animals Act. *my credentials are not current as of 2021
I am fully vaccinated for COVID 19 as of April 2021. Rover Made Over pricing structure is based on:
Size of the pet
Coat type & condition
Extra services as requested by the client (hand scissoring/stripping/deshedding/Rx shampoo) OR flea treatment. Any pet found to have fleas will be treated at the clients expense. The length of time spent preforming services. Larger animals or pets with special needs may take more time than than usual. I have a price range loosely based on the size of the pet and type of service requested. I can't commit to a fee until I've had a chance to assess your pet and their condition in person. Please be aware that I can only give an estimate range until I've seen your pet! The only Vaccination required by IL state law is Rabies. Rabies inoculation is the only vaccine I keep track of, for legal purposes. I strongly encourage you to consult with your veterinarian about what shots are appropriate for your pet! Make sure you follow the inoculation schedule you are advised to use. I do sanitize my trailer between appointments, but be aware your pet may be exposed to pathogens any time they leave your home, or anything brought in to your home that has been exposed to an infectious agent.
