Tail Waggon Pet Services is expanding and is searching for a skilled, energetic, and motivated groomer to join their team in Pojoaque. This is a unique chance to take your career to the next level while working in a team-based environment.

Tail Waggon Pet Services offers grooming, bathing and brushing, daycare, and boarding services at their facility in Pojoaque. They take pride in giving their clients a top-notch experience and are looking for someone who shares their passion for providing the best grooming services. As a groomer, you will have your own grooming room to create your own oasis to groom and have the opportunity to work with various breeds and sizes.

To become a groomer at Tail Waggon, you must have a love for all animals, proven professional experience in safely grooming pets, reliability, a caring and gentle demeanor with pets, attention to detail, be a team player, have reliable transportation to work, and excellent customer service and communication skills. Their loyal customers provide full grooming schedules Monday through Saturday and grooming large dogs up to 100 pounds is required.

The position offers a commission plus tips pay structure with full-time and part-time job types available. Additionally, the company offers benefits such as PTO after 90 days' probation time and sick leave.

Olive was very timid around us when she first arrived. Within a day she found her person, Maureen. Olive now loves being around all of us but most importantly getting snuggle time when outside to help ease her anxiety.

Here at Tail Waggon Pet Services, we work calmly and patiently with any dog that needs special attention and time to get acclimated with their surroundings. We have the ability to give them time alone in the yard, if needed, and if they are comfortable with other dogs, we make that outside time fun and enjoyable.

Ozzy boarded with us for almost three weeks, during that entire time he was calm and happy. He figured out the routine rather quick and made sure we kept to it. He always got his snack before he settled down for his afternoon nap.

Chex is an excellent snuggler and gives professional hugs. Chex was boarding with us while his mom was out of town but there was no shortage of love for him while he was here.

Don't let his size fool you, this guy is the biggest snuggle bug and sweetest dog! He came in for a bath and brush, during which time he got special attention given to him by Karen. Smokey especially loved his blueberry facial massage and pedicure. He is ready to strut his stuff around town.

This is Clementine. She was a boarder from the shelter. She won over all of our hearts but especially one of our staff members and we are happy to announce that she is now a member of her family! We are so happy that this sweet girl found her forever home with our lovely staff member. 😊❤
