I'm pleased to announce the purchase of my new grooming vehicle!! I'm very excited to start a new journey with this van. It's not a brand new van, there are dents, dings and an interesting paint job over the old logos, but all of that aside, it runs and drives nicely! I have not come up with a name for it yet, but I'm sure I will soon!

I will need a couple weeks to convert it into a mobile grooming salon, but I will be back on the road very soon! Once I am near completion of this big project, I will reach out to begin rescheduling. Thank you everyone for being so patient and understanding during this chaotic time for me!

It's with a heavy heart that I have to announce “The Beast” has taken it's last drive. A part of the trailer frame snapped, which makes the trailer unsafe to travel. According to a trailer repair shop, it's not recommended to fix. I'm advised to consider the trailer totaled and build something new. I'm on the hunt for a new vehicle, so once I find one, I can update on how long it will take me to build it and start setting up appointments I've had to reschedule. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused anyone. I'll be looking forward to being back on the road to see my pups as soon as possible!

LOST CAT in Sussex!!

Posting for a good friend of mine- Justin Hoff. His cat has wandered off from his house located on Parkview Drive and Quarry Road yesterday.

Her name is Alice. She is missing her right eye. She is FIV positive.

Some of the most satisfying grooms are the ones that make furnados! Special shout out to Mongo, who is the sweetest elderly gentleman! Since he's an older pup, he was able to lay down the majority of the time so he could be more comfortable. All in all, we got a whole other Mongo out of the fur that was blown out of his coat! 2024 has started off with a bang. Both literally and figuratively. Despite there being a tree on the trailer, it seems there is no damage I can see at this time. However, with the temperature being in the negatives, my generator does not want to start. Until I'm able to get it started, appointments may need to be rescheduled. I will keep everyone with appointments this week posted!

WINTER POLICY❄️

Winter is coming 🥶 With that being said, towing a trailer can be extremely dangerous in the snow, slush and ice. To avoid an accidents, I will not be towing the trailer through it. So, in order to still keep appointments the same week if rescheduled due to snow, I have allowed two days a week (in the afternoons) to be able to accommodate every pup!

Also pictured- an outdoor cat named Bixby who decided he wanted to be the trailer mascot. Not sure how he got up there but he deserves to be recognized for his efforts!

Heaven gained another angel today when it took in my cat Griffin. Griffin was the kindest and sweetest cat you'd ever meet. Always wanted love and belly rubs. He hated being groomed, but looked adorable with his modified lion cut and always strutted his stuff afterwards. He could never meow properly, but that's just another reason I loved him. I'll miss him more than words can describe. But, I know he's reunited with his best pal Angel and can say hi to my dad for me. Rest easy baby griffin until we meet again ❤️

In honor of my dad and father's day, I got the bottom of the trailer professionally spray insulated! It will help keep the trailer temperature more regulated for the pups! Also, back in May I took the trailer completely apart (again) to spray insulate the sides by myself. Thankfully, my dad was still around and gave me some pointers on it. The trailer is equipped with heat and a/c plus a big fan in the ceiling. The beast is officially ready for whatever Wisconsin weather has to throw at it!

My Dad. The man, the myth, the legend. He passed away this morning around 2:50am. My heart is truly broken. He was my rock, my hero, my mentor. He taught me everything I know. He showed me I could do anything. He helped me build the trailer to what it is today. As I continue to improve on it, I can only hope he will be proud. I'm going to miss him so much. Life is going to be hard without him, so please understand I may need some time to heal. I may need to reschedule a few appointments in the next few weeks as I get his affairs in order with my family.

I deeply appreciate all of the condolences, and if I don't get back to you right away, I promise I will once things calm down.

I just wanted to thank everyone for being so understanding this winter so far! 🥰♥️☃️

The biggest downside to being mobile is that the weather always calls the shots. I have learned that black ice is quite the thrill ride with the trailer and snow is like dragging along a large pup that doesn't want to go inside the vet office 😂 With that said- the trailer will have to remain parked during those types of conditions.

I hope everyone digs themselves out safely and the pups have a good time in the snow! Just make sure to watch the little ones as they might just magically disappear in the mounds of snow!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I'm so thankful to have such amazing clients, pups, and kitties! I have to say I'm very thankful for everyone being so understanding about all the mishaps with The Beast. It's been quite the adventure with The Beast, but I'll continue making improvements to make my pups more comfortable and spoiled while in the trailer!

So, that leads me to figure out the best way to still keep appointments the same week if having to be rescheduled due to snow.

My thought process right now is to allow two days a week (in the afternoons) to be able to accommodate rescheduling. I'm just stuck on what days, so I need a helping paw. Please leave a comment on what two days you think I should pick!

My spoiled little gremlins Griffin (giant fluffy boy) and Buttercup (tortie) had to get something after the drawing, but still had to do a trick for their treat! 🎃Both cats know how to sit (we are working on giving paw, but they would rather just hold their paw up) 🤣

All the pups were absolutely adorable which is why I had to do the old draw from a hat trick because I'd never be able to pick 😍

No pup will go empty paw though- they will all get an extra treat or two during their next appointment 😉
