Medina Meow Fix To assist the community with population control of feral cats utilizing TNR, Trap, Neuter and Release We will assist you and help you learn to trap your cat.

Contact us with questions or problems with stray and abandoned cats in Medina County. We are all volunteers and do our best to get back to you ASAP but please be patient. Please take action

We are urging everyone to please write the prosecutor(s), magistrate and judge(s).

Kaitlyn joined SEVERAL FB free pet groups this week. She has been removed and banned by group admins. She trolls for bottle babies and will message OP directly since more people are aware.

Any animal in her care is in danger. This is her second case with animal related charges (2023 CR-B 001302, underage puppy sales). We are requesting the maximum sentence for the safety of companion animals, including ceasing all grooming operations (Bark Boutique, LLC and independent grooming) and are asking she have no contact with or ownership of animals for as long as the law allows.

Kaitlyn, and the danger she presents, is very well known amongst the animal welfare community. We will continue to speak for those who do not have a voice. Please keep our companion animals safe and issue the maximum sentence, cease all grooming and forbid future pet ownership.

We were asked to assist a sweet elderly lady that was just taken to hospice.
Her beloved cat needs a loving home. Her daughters husband is extremely allergic, no joke..
The cat is 14, she is a sweet old gal and would love a lap.
If you can help please message us. They don’t want her to go to a shelter.
She is an indoor cat.

This is why our fight for these cats is so darn important.
Orange boy spent 10 years outside living at Penny Dean Lovejoy’s property. When she moved he just was not ok going to a barn! He walked 5 miles to get back to his home, cats will travel 50 or more miles but he’s 10, he had a 30 day acclimation but he was adamant about going home!!
Now he’s living indoors, it was a trial, he’s never been indoors..
look at the love he has for his caretaker..
These animals love with all they have. Feral, semi feral or friendly… they love.

Big orange has been hanging at hotel pfaum for a while (over 3 months) as he is finally all better from his sickness after leaving his new barn home with his buddies staying, he had other ideas…… orange boy said “I must get back to Penny Dean Lovejoy”. Well, Penny has moved, a new condo that does not allow outdoor cats, she has dedicated a room for this boy so no more running… it’s been a long process for this old fella but he really loves her. These past months are going to end with feral and caretaker being reunited.. We did some dental work on him before he went to his barn and entropion which gave him great eye sight as he walked 5 miles to get back home.. glad they hadn’t moved yet! Even after a full 30 day acclamation, he was determined.. he said goodbye to his buddies and left!

Sometimes the heart wants what it wants. We are glad that they made the room for him and he can share life with his caretaker in a spare room.

We try to move kitty’s to barns when someone has no choices, illness etc..
The others are doing so great at their barn! Thank you Marybeth Maniaci for your kindness, friendship and love of animals.

This has been a group effort for sure!

Medina Meow Fix will be up and running for TNR pretty quickly. We prefer you to hold cats a couple days if it’s really cold. Make sure straw is refreshed for shelters as well. We are back at Mission Possible in Medina and we can accept a limit of 8 cats per week. Large trapping days can be planned monthly with transport to Alter Clinic, 1 Monday per month. That allows for larger amounts of cats to head up to Canton and still have 8 surgeries in Medina. We are so happy to be at our home clinic with Lisa Taylor and Dr. G!
Our kitten group is also super busy- Cathy Hanton Denman and Kelley Blackburn head this up with MMF and are doing amazing helping kittens in serious need.
Next week looks to be a little better with weather and we will accept TNR cats Monday and Tuesday. We will let customers know if we hit our limit Monday.

One last message… We have helped a lot of kittens and we want to continue this but we will NOT help you if you’re asking us to come pick up your kittens and you do NOTHING to spay and neuter the parents. We absolutely are tired of the constant breeding and displacement of animals because of the lack of follow-through.
We do Tnr, we help with friendly cats. We help with 4 to 7 week old kittens if we are helping with kittens, then we are helping with the parents.
We do our best to help!!! We need you to do the same!!

Medina Meow Fix will be taking a much needed winter vacation for 2-3 weeks.
Starting December 15th we will be bringing all of the traps in for cleaning and maintenance. Please continue to help TNR and drive your cats to Alter Clinic, The Great Life and book into Mission Possible as well. We will resume after the first of the year, weather permitting. If it’s below freezing we won’t trap.
Please do not let kittens freeze, winter is very hard for tiny bodies. We always prefer a mom and kittens to stay together 4-5 weeks but please do not let any animals freeze. If any emergency arises please call the Medina SPCA.


If you have any traps please get them back to us.

When your group decides to help a 12-14 year old cat with old age cataracts, missing teeth, deaf and many old frostbite scars your heart grows. She just melted and purred. Cathy Hanton Denman gave her a good nail trim and some vaccines, she went to the most wonderful foster home at Jill Hubbards and gets to be warm and pampered.
We would love for her to go to a happy home that would allow her to just live her senior years.
She’s healthy, she’s happy.

One successful eye removed today!! Thank you Alter Clinic!!! Iris is playing with her amazing foster Kelley Blackburn Iris will need a new home! If you might be interested please let me know. She’s a lovely little kitten that was a dumped stray that will never feel the fleas, lice, hunger or pain of hurting again. She will have a happy future!! Look how happy!!!!
