My name is Ariel Carpenter and I am the breeder behind Pathfinder Pomskies. Pathfinder Pomskies is a small & humble breeding program that was born out of sheer passion of the breed. We have spent the past couple of years under a mentorship; and also researching, learning and preparing for our premiere into the Arctic Spitz community. We are excited to sustainably contribute to this wonderful, athl

etic up-and-coming companion breed as it progresses in both standards and AKC recognition. Sure, cosmetics and colors are undoubtedly important when choosing puppies- but we understand that structure and sound temperaments endlessly trump color genetics. Organizations such as the APKC have been paramount in setting the breed standards and we always strive to follow their guidelines during our journey of producing the happiest and healthiest pomsky puppies you've ever seen! We also go the extra mile with temperament evaluations on our pups to make sure our puppies aren't just going to the families that can pay for them- but the families that are the most ideal match for them. That way- everyone wins! Our program encompasses the following core values, without compromise: Health, Ethics, Communication, & Transparency. All of our dogs are raised in the home and go on adventures with us as family members! Things aren’t quite the same here without a litter of puppies to raise up; and yes, just like every go-home day I got very emotional! But let me tell you just how worth it it is when you get those updates from their families. 🥹🌸 All of the hard work comes full circle and we are reminded why we do what we do. Our next litter won’t be until the winter but until then- our busy lives carry on!

Pathfinder Odyssey, our certified handsome boi serving us his smolder. He is 8 weeks old, his name will be Riku and he is ready to meet his family tomorrow! We only have one more week with these lil’ fluff tanks before they leave the nest to meet their own packs and start new adventures of their own. Pathfinder Odyssey has also turned 6 weeks old and was first to be chosen! But that’a not all! He is going to a returning pathfinder family here in-state and will become little brother!! And for those gaming or kingdom hearts fans- can you take a guess what they might be naming this handsome nugget if they already have a Sora? 😉 Confident, sweet, playful and robust- what more could you ask for in a pomsky? This grey coated big ol’ chunker has received another round of dewormer, has his 8 week check up scheduled, has successfully weaned onto solid food and is acclimating great when exposed to new areas and sounds. Soon they will be introduced to car rides! I can’t believe this is this litter’s second to last photoshoot already. Always bittersweet! 🥲

Pathfinder Venture has earned his 6 weeks old badge today! His family, who also lives here in Washington state, is eagerly awaiting his arrival and one quick look at this adorable fluff ball will tell you why 🥰 He has been thriving in play time with his brother and all of the adults in the pack. While more cautious than his brother, his quiet and inquisitive demeanor has always enamored us. This wolf sable stuffed animal has received another round of dewormer, has his 8 week check up scheduled, has successfully weaned onto solid food and is acclimating great when exposed to new areas and sounds. Soon they will be introduced to car rides! I can’t believe this is this litter’s second to last photoshoot already. Always bittersweet! 🥲 Stay tuned for his brother’s update tomorrow!

Pathfinder Odyssey at 5 weeks old! 😍 Once they hit that five week mark, its hard not to consider the rest of the journey up until Go-Home Day my favorite because this is when they really start to bloom. Their personalities begin to show a little, they begin to fluff up and truly start to reveal their unique features, and are completely self-aware now! He is always playing and rough-housing with his brother (as rough as puppies this young can get anyways lol) and handles new environments, sights and sound with poise, an insatiable curiosity and admirable resilience. It’s clear that this one will look soo much like his daddy 🥰

5 weeks old already?!! No way. We don’t believe you! Well, here is Pathfinder Venture, our fluffy firstborn of the litter and let me just say- it has been so so amazing to watch this little guy come out of his shell and begin to become more curious with his surroundings and even display some more confidence! As we always say, pups tend to stay true to their litter names, and this one is of no exception! Venture loves to “venture” outside of the play pen when we are sleeping or gone so we had to make some adjustments haha Just climbs right over it, leaving his brother to wonder where the heckity heck he went! He reminds me so much of his mom, and its clear he will take after her looks, quietness and structure a lot! He even does little mannerisms that Athena does. 🥹 A certified mama’s boy, truly.

🌟 4-WEEK UPDATE: PATHFINDER ODYSSEY 🌟

Only six ounces larger than his brother, Odyssey is showing some promising early signs of confidence. While still on the quiet side so far, he is usually the one to initiate play time with his brother and shows a little more bravery when introduced to new environments. We absolutely adore his ravishing grey coat, and of course, his little “fluffy old man”aesthetic he is rocking at this small age. We are getting closer to my personal favorite age (the 5-6 weeks old range) when they really start fluffing up and coming into themselves more 💙

This week, he got his second round of dewormer and has started weaning onto solids. Based on his current growth, he’s tracking to land in the 25–30 lb range! 💛

🌟 4-WEEK UPDATE: PATHFINDER VENTURE 🌟

Our adorable firstborn fluffball is here to show off all his four-week-old glory! If you couldn’t already tell, he’s shaping up to be one seriously fluffy little guy. 😉

A touch smaller than his younger brother, he’s made it clear he likes to take life at his own pace. Calm, relaxed, and observant, he often prefers to watch the action from the safety of a cozy spot—usually under a T-shirt or snuggled up close to a human or packmate—before joining in on the fun. He’s our quiet little dreamer, frequently making the sweetest little noises during his many naps.

This week, he got his second round of dewormer and has started weaning onto solids. Based on his current growth, he’s tracking to land in the 25–30 lb range! 💛
