My name is Ariel Carpenter and I am the breeder behind Pathfinder Pomskies. Pathfinder Pomskies is a small & humble breeding program that was born out of sheer passion of the breed. We have spent the past couple of years under a mentorship; and also researching, learning and preparing for our premiere into the Arctic Spitz community. We are excited to sustainably contribute to this wonderful, athl

etic up-and-coming companion breed as it progresses in both standards and AKC recognition. Sure, cosmetics and colors are undoubtedly important when choosing puppies- but we understand that structure and sound temperaments endlessly trump color genetics. Organizations such as the APKC have been paramount in setting the breed standards and we always strive to follow their guidelines during our journey of producing the happiest and healthiest pomsky puppies you've ever seen! We also go the extra mile with temperament evaluations on our pups to make sure our puppies aren't just going to the families that can pay for them- but the families that are the most ideal match for them. That way- everyone wins! Our program encompasses the following core values, without compromise: Health, Ethics, Communication, & Transparency. All of our dogs are raised in the home and go on adventures with us as family members! Things have finally calmed down enough over here where we can sit down, lay back and share the good news with you all: puppies are on the way! Pathfinder Athena is expecting her second litter to arrive the first week of February 🎉 Our waitlist families are excited, we are excited, everyone is excited! This will be our last standards-only litter, as we will be adding back in miniature sizing to the mix for her in future litters. We only have 1-2 spots left for this one, so if you are interested go ahead and shoot a message our way or take a gander at our website✌🏻✨

This litter will have fluffy puppies, blue eyes, and all will have husky masks! Colors we can see are grey, wolf sable, red, and black. Size range is 25-35lbs

Listen, if this is Pathfinder Venture during his teenage “puppy uglies” then I think we are all in for a treat once his adult coat is fully furnished 🥰 That fluff is gonna be glorious! This will also be his first holidays with his family and we are so smitten for them and even more smitten to know full siblings will be coming this winter/early spring!🌲🌺

A common question we receive is if they bring a pomsky puppy home to their cats…will their kitties be safe? This picture is your answer! And we have several other families with similar photos 🥰 Puppies go home during a critical socialization period and when they grow up in a pack that has cats, they learn that they are part of the family just like them. I wouldn’t be surprised if they think the cats are just smaller, grumpier doggos. Or maybe the pomskies think they are cats like them 🤔 Who knows! But if you or someone you know is worried about how these two mix- don’t be! Our little Pathfinders have all matured to be cat cuddlers thus far 🐱💛

Can you believe our exploration litter is on their 6 months old mark already?! That means we are hitting the canine “teen years” and the adorkable lanky ‘puppy uglies’ for the next couple of months and its an age I always enjoy! By about 10 months old they will have their full, fluffy adult coats in all of their glory! This is also when a lot of color changes take place in their coat so we are always keen to see how they finish developing ❤️ Huge thank you to the wonderful families that share these heartwarming updates with us!

Summer is nearly at its end, so we are enjoying what’s left of that warm sunshine! Living in the PNW is always an adventure, and our Jakey boy is of no exception to that! 😇 We hope everyone is getting their walks and hikes in 🌲

Next, let’s check in on our other handsome boy from the exploration litter: Riku (FKA Pathfinder Odyssey)! 😍 Like his brother he has grown so much and we are still just as enthralled by that gorgeous grey coat as we used to be! It’s so special that two pathfinders get to grow up together like this 😇

Pathfinder Venture is growing up quick and boy did he land an amazing home that’s just brimming with love and fellow doggos to play with! It’s a special feeling as a breeder to see your lil pups grow up from afar and see how they thrive, along with the joy they bring their families. Truly special! Big thanks to the families that send us updates or have those socials for us to snoop on 😇

When it comes to pupdates, we have a lot of catching up to do! And we’ll start with a chocolate pup from our spring litter in 2023! This is Mushu (FKA Pathfinder Frontier); our smallest and fluffiest thus far 💘 Spoiled rotten- just how we like them! ☺️

I would say that this photo of our resident matriarch, Pathfinder Pumpkin, sums up how we are feeling quite well! 😮‍💨 The last two months or so have been… well ‘busy’ would be a nice word to use for it. BUT! We are finally getting some rest and we are so grateful for it! So you should be seeing us more active here on our socials after going dark for a bit there! We hope everyone has been enjoying their summer ☀️ Fall will be here before we know it and YES! We still have two open slots left on our upcoming winter litter too ❄️

Did we mention Pathfinder Odyssey went home to meet his pomsky brother who was from our very first litter ever?! They may share different parents but certainly share the same pathfinder spirit!
