My name is Ariel Carpenter and I am the breeder behind Pathfinder Pomskies. Pathfinder Pomskies is a small & humble breeding program that was born out of sheer passion of the breed. We have spent the past couple of years under a mentorship; and also researching, learning and preparing for our premiere into the Arctic Spitz community. We are excited to sustainably contribute to this wonderful, athl

etic up-and-coming companion breed as it progresses in both standards and AKC recognition. What's different about us? Sure, cosmetics and colors are undoubtedly important when choosing puppies- but we understand that structure and sound temperaments endlessly trump color genetics. Organizations such as the APKC have been paramount in setting the breed standards and we always strive to follow their guidelines during our journey of producing the happiest and healthiest pomsky puppies you've ever seen! We also go the extra mile with temperament evaluations on our pups to make sure our puppies aren't just going to the families that can pay for them- but the families that are the most ideal match for them. Our program encompasses the following core values, without compromise: Health, Ethics, Communication, & Transparency. All of our dogs are raised in the home and go on adventures with us as family members! Things have gotten a little less busy and hectic here at Pathfinder Pomskies for the next week or two and we are grateful for the chance to spend some time with family and relax some for a change. Here’s another pretty capture of our fluff tank Jakey, who wants to make sure that everybody knows just how cool his eyes are 😉 We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Nothing is confirmed yet for this virgin pairing but we are excited to get this updated litter poster out now that the timeline has been refined some. Fingers crossed we have some “rai-bread loaves baking in the oven” 🤭🤞🏻We also still have an open slot or two for those who want to secure a puppy pick spot for this litter’s waitlist! It’s hard to believe this is the same playful pup we brought home not long ago—he’s grown up soo much! As a breeder, you are always reminded just how fleeting puppyhood truly is. His build, his presence, even the way he carries himself—it’s clear he’s stepping into his own- his goofy dorkiness included of course! We are so hopeful that he gets a chance to leave a much needed mark on this wonderful breed. ❄️⚡️

Would you believe it?! Our resident matriarch, Pathfinder Pumpkin, finally let me take a photo of her! 😆 Normally camera shy, she absolutely slayed with that slightly annoyed gaze! (My soul dog, truly.) If you currently have a pathfinder puppy from us, you can thank this beautiful spice girl for it. I will always miss watching her with her litters- a total natural! 💛

“Petit Homme” or “Little Man”! 🇨🇦 If our beloved Pathfinder Pumpkin was known for one thing, it would definitely be her sons. That girl just knew how to make ‘em ❤️ You’ve probably seen him before, and it probably won’t be the last, but we always love sharing Kyubi (Pathfinder Valor). He left a memorable mark on us before his pilgrimmage to Canada. We are so grateful this beautiful boy found such a stellar mama to raise him! Athena, our snow-kissed princess of the Pathfinder realm has always been so inquisitive- quietly exploring her surroundings. Her hobbies include napping on thick blankets of snow and standing upright on her two legs when she is happy to see you. She constantly reminds us of her sire, Pathfinder Bear. They are so similar! And with her gold-standard temperament- we are eagerly awaiting her first, debut litter of little explorers projected to arrive in the early summer. 🤞🏻🌲🏔️☀️

Its been more than a year since our last litter. As we see so many promising pairings out there in the pomsky world pulling fresh buns out of the oven, we can’t help but feel that yearning nostalgia (and a little FOMO too of course!) of just how incredible it feels to foster and shepherd new life into the world. Many months of intention, planning, and hard decisions WILL come to fruition. I appreciate everyone who has been so patient with the lack of new pathfinder puppies while I tended to some personal life obstacles. We are so so soo excited for the future! 🌲💗

After a very long break, it’s time for us to begin preparing for the next generation of Pathfinders set to arrive soon this year! We have very high expectations for this litter of standards; however this is both Raiko & Athena’s debut litter so we don’t have previous pups to go off of or heat cycle timing for them quite figured out yet. So of course, we will keep everyone satiated with updates as they come. Our early-bird wait-listers have staked their claims, three spots have been taken, and we now only have TWO spots left! If there was a way to create a permanent bed of snow all year around, I’m fairly certain that miss Pathfinder Athena would just adore that. Her and Raiko’s debut litter waitlist was privately opened on New Years to our early bird wait listers and now the remaining slots left will be revealed to the public- more information and details later this week ❄️💕
