A structured dog is a happy dog.

Many times when our dogs have anxiety it’s because we haven’t implemented enough structure in to their lives. By showing them what we want and don’t want we give them realistic expectations of the world around them. Without structure they are left to impulsive, emotional reactions that often lead to dysfunctional behaviors and imbalanced relationships. Structure helps build self control and creates more emotional resilience.

I’m so grateful to be able to share what I love. Showing people how to build strong, healthy relationships with their dogs is what I do best.

I built such a beautiful relationship with my dog and now I get to introduce people to what is truly possible when given the right tools and guidance.

This is my cousin and his new rescue pup. Even though they live in Chicago we’re going to get this one trained up ASAP! I’m so excited to get them on the path to having the best trained dog in Illinois 🐕🐕🐕

New year, new pack and we’re back at it! 🐾🦴

I’ve been on vacation for a while, taking some time to breathe and stay grounded. Mental health is so important, especially for working with dogs. I’m challenged everyday to take my ego out of the equation and lead with compassion, not only in my line of work but in all aspects of my life. It’s never easy, but faces like these keep it ever present in my mind.

I’m so grateful to be back doing what I love. Each time I return to training dogs it reinforces how much I truly love this. Thank you to everyone last year who trusted me with their dogs and thank you to everyone who has been waiting so patiently on my waiting list.

Im so excited to continue to share this with people, slowly making the world a better place, one dog at a time. ❤️❤️❤️

This is my Dad’s dog Franklin. He’s not well trained ironically. Although he’s super intelligent because he’s a basenji (an African hunting breed), it’s all up to the owner’s dedication to build a strong foundation of training.

He’s not the best trained, but he is a good looking dog and a very good boy (when he’s not being a punk).

He’s about 12 years old now and still goes on 10+ mile hikes. Long live frank the tank diggity dank.

I used to “not like” frenchies... but that was before I trained a million of them. The breed has truly stolen my heart. Most recently, these two.

Meet Baker (left) & Jojo (right). Two brothers with two totally different personalities. We can try to make all the assumptions we want about breeds or genders or ages, but every dog is entirely unique. There are always exceptions to every rule.

Baker came with some of the most fierce anxiety I had seen, while Jojo was about as apathetic as they come (swipe to see that side of him😂).

With such differences in personalities I had to cater to each dog’s strengths and weaknesses in order to bring them along with me in the training process.

It’s so beautiful to see these such different dogs both become the best versions of themselves. I love these two.

I was overcome by tears on my way home today after a full day's work, half from sheer exhaustion and half from the overwhelming of gratitude I feel to be able to not only make a difference in so many dogs and peoples lives, but also to have a way to truly give back to my community. I've finally found something that aligns with my purpose in this mysterious life. Even when I'm gripped from the stresses of our modern society, my heart still has the freedom to sing. Silence penetrates the incessant chatter and love reigns over it all. Life can often weigh us down and we feel as though we are about to crumble from the pressure. It's these tears of gratitude that cleanse the soul and inspire us to persevere and smile with compassion in the face of adversity. @ Pan Pacific Park

Three weeks into training an aggressive Wolf hybrid. This has been such a rewarding experience, building a bond with this incredible animal. He is wild and needs strong leadership in order to coexist in our human society. With the right foundation of training, he and his owner will be set up for success at building a strong, balanced relationship.

This is Miles! He is the first wolf/wolf-hybrid that I've ever trained and, even at 6 months old, probably one of the most challenging. Although highly intelligent, his instinctual drive is far stronger than any dog I've worked with making it very difficult to maintain a balanced relationship. As we progress in the training and our bond strengthens, he is beginning to relax into life in our society.
