What are some changes that you would like to see at horse shows, going forward? Now is a perfect time to “strip down” and make some changes. All input is appreciated!

Good afternoon. There was a little pause in the launch of our website, with the uncertain times. It is now in progress. We believe that now, more than ever, barns need to get together and work together for the greater good.
Would anyone have interest in an online zoom meeting, to work on some things going forward? Not only are show dates going to be on high demand, it will be important to implement safety standards at those events.
We believe that shows on the local level will be more needed than ever, as people will be hesitant to travel for a while.
The calendar will be up and running soon, and we will post any events that are submitted to us. Not only are local shows going to be a great way to ease back into getting out, we think that clinics will be a great asset for many barns. We would love to add those to the calendar as well.
Stay healthy and safe everyone! We, as a horse community, are truly in this together.
Feedback on a meeting is much appreciated! Maybe we could get a farm bureau representative to speak about the eventual opening up of the events in the area.

If you live in Western New York, and are interested in promoting all sport horse activities, we invite you to join our group: Western New York Horseman’s Association!

Whether you are in hunter/jumper, dressage, eventing, or quarter horses and more, this group is for you. We are creating a calendar of events, where work with each other - instead of against. I don’t want to run a horse show the same day as someone else. Instead, I want to support you, hoping you’ll support us.

By becoming a member, you will be eligible to host a show that has the breed incentive classes and futurity classes, your show will be listed in our calendar of events, and promoted at all of our farm shows. You’ll be able to participate at seasonal seminars and clinics at a discounted rate. There will be opportunities to win free tickets to The Buffalo International, Erie County Fair, The Genessee Valley Hunt Races, and More. There will be an annual opportunity for all Western New York Horsemen to get together in a social atmosphere, where year end awards will be presented in all different disciplines, futurities, and incentives.

Questionnaires to go out, so we know what YOU want. And, join us at our spring gathering Wednesday May 6, at a convenient, fun location.
