There has been ZERO interest in these 5 urgent dogs and they have until tomorrow 9/16 at 4pm to be rescued or they will be euthanized. Yes, I share these posts every week. Yes, this is a huge problem. Yes, these lists happen every week. That doesn’t change the fact that these dogs NEED you.

We have TWO DAYS until we close our eyes forever and cross the bridge. We have been FAILED BY OUR HUMANS and we are on death row, what a terribly scary place to be. We are clinging to hope that we have a miracle and someone comes and says YES TO EACH OF US. We don’t want to die here. Willie is working hard on his extended sit-stay and adding distance to his recall! This sweet boy, formerly known as Bud, was another pup saved off the euthanasia list at Hall County Animal Shelter and his new owners decided to take advantage of my 50% off training offer! Guess what?! I am officially approved as an AKC Evaluator for all levels of CGC (Canine Good Citizen) as well as S.T.A.R Puppy! This is something I’ve been meaning to do for quite some time now and I’m super excited to offer this in my service dog program as well as to the rest of my clients, and I will also be posting openings and dates for my first S.T.A.R Puppy class in the next few weeks! I’m so excited to start performing evaluations and giving out these shiny new ribbons!🤩

Lily is the newest pup to our service dog program!! She will be training to become a cardiac alert/response dog for her little girl!! (If you remember my service dog, her name is also Lily and she is also a cardiac alert/response pup so I’m in love with the parallel🥹) We’ve started her basic obedience and getting her into as many pet friendly places as possible for that critical early socialization. Check out her focus-she’s only 4 months old!🤩

I know I share these posts every week, but the reality is that every shelter, including Hall County, is overflowing with dogs. All these babies deserve to be saved. Well the deadline has been set for 17 of our beloved shelter dogs. What can we say other than we are feeling purely and utterly devastated. The amount of pets pouring into our shelter and the lack of adoptions have created a list that feels almost impossible to tackle. WE NEED ANY HELP WE CAN GET. We need adopters, we need rescues, we need EVERYONE to share as many times and places as possible. These dogs ARE NOT READY TO CROSS RAINBOW BRIDGE. volunteers love these pets and goodness do we pray everyone can be saved but we know we are asking ALOT…. But that’s all we can do is ask, pray, network and have YOUR help! You have made miracles happen, can we keep making miracles for more!? ANYTHING HELPS. We have been posting profiles for dogs and if you have questions on anyone please post in comments and this page or volunteers who are not admins on this page will gladly answer them!!!!!!

Introducing Zeppelin as the next pup in our service dog program!! This sweet boy (formerly known as Dominic) was saved off the euthanasia list at Hall County Animal Shelter and is now in training to become a multipurpose service dog for his new mom🥳 These two are a match made in Heaven!

A huge thanks to Hall County Animal Shelter Volunteers for your continued work in networking these dogs and helping make partnerships like this possible🩷

*We are aware his harness is loose-fitting. This is not his service dog gear and does not have a leash connected; it is simply on him to get him used to wearing gear of some form

I am BACK!!! After a social media hiatus and a bit of time off due to some personal issues, things are back in full swing.

We started the week with a service dog outing to the Braves game with Miss Lily! Socializiation and desensitization is CRUCIAL when in the early stages of service dog training so your fully trained dog can remain calm and focused in any situation- like a baseball game!

P.S- big shoutout to Truist Park for giving us zero access issues and making it a great experience

The list is now published. If these dogs are not adopted, rescued, or fostered, they will be euthanized, their life ending at the shelter 😭. The DEADLINE IS SATURDAY, 6/24 @ 4PM.

Please know, this is NOT what the shelter wants to do, which is why this urgent call is going out to the community. This is a community issue, not a shelter issue. Each person at HCAS wants ALL of the animals to find loving homes.

It is best to call and make an appointment, and/or email the persons listed below to make an appointment. It can get very busy at the shelter, so if you do not reach someone via phone, email them with the subject line of URGENT and the animal’s name.

If you have other dogs, it is highly recommended that you bring them for a meet and greet.

All of the animals were saved from the last urgent call and went to outstanding homes. Let’s make this again!!! SHARE, SHARE, SHARE THIS POST!!!

We had another great month of training with Indie’s Journey! This girl graduated to her first big public access outing to Stone Mountain Park as she’s now tasking reliably. Couldn’t be prouder!! Way to go Indie girl!!🥳

I am accepting NEW clients for both my basic and advanced obedience courses, as well as into reactivity. I have ONE spot left for a service dog client this term as I have a very exciting opportunity coming up that I can’t WAIT to share with everyone!!🐕‍🦺
