ÉTINCELLE est une ravissante minette d'environ 5-6 ans, en très bonne santé quoiqu'en surpoids - à son arrivée la jolie pesait près de 18 lbs/8 kg. Avec son superbe et abondant pelage calico dilué, ses grands yeux lumineux remplis d'intelligence et sa personnalité des plus attachante, difficile de ne pas succomber à ses charmes !
ÉTINCELLE a été abandonnée au refuge tout juste avant Noel; la personne qui nous l'a emmené a indiqué qu'elle l'avait trouvé quelques semaines auparavant mais ne pouvait plus la garder. Le passé de la belle ÉTINCELLE demeure donc un mystère mais nous pouvons affirmer qu'elle est très à l'aise et affectueuse avec les gens et donc était un animal de compagnie auparavant...
ÉTINCELLE est une gentille minette très douce et plutôt calme mais qui reste curieuse, explorant tous les racoins de son entourage; elle se divertit aussi en observant les oiseaux et tout se qui se passe par la fenêtre avec beaucoup d'intérêt. La coquine ne miaule presque jamais. ÉTINCELLE n'a pas encore été mise en salle avec les autres chats alors pour le moment elle reste en cage; on constate qu'elle est très sociable, appréciant beaucoup les interactions avec les humains alors elle a très hâte de pouvoir se promener sans contraintes dans sa nouvelle demeure.
ÉTINCELLE est très affectueuse, adorant se faire flatter et bécoter. Une fois que vous commencez à la caresser, elle ne veut plus que cela s'arrête. De nature tendre et aimante, on peut la prendre dans nos bras quelques instants mais elle préfère se coucher sur les genoux ou se blottir près de vous sur le sofa. ÉTINCELLE devra idéalement perdre un peu de poids dans le futur en mangeant une nourriture adaptée et aura besoin d'un toilettage complet puisqu'à son arrivée, son pelage était en piètre état, surtout près du fessier...son embonpoint n'aidant pas la situation. Un brossage quotidien sera aussi nécessaire par la suite, pour maintenir son pelage en santé.
Nous recherchons des adoptants bienveillants et attentionnés qui interagiront régulièrement avec ÉTINCELLE pour la faire bouger et la faire jouer. Ainsi un foyer avec des escaliers ou plusieurs pièces serait souhaitable pour lui faire faire de l'exercice à l'intérieur. Comme la délicieuse boule de poils est très chaleureuse avec les humains, nous croyons qu'elle pourrait vivre dans un foyer avec des grands enfants (10 ans et plus), à la condition qu'ils soient respectueux des animaux. ÉTINCELLE serait très heureuse comme la seule ch**te de la maisonnée. Par contre, si vous avez déjà un chat, celui-ci devra être amical et non-dominant et des introductions graduelles seraient nécessaires pour éviter les situations stressantes, qui nuiraient à son bien-être.
L'époustouflante ÉTINCELLE possède un tempérament des plus agréables, ainsi madame fera une merveilleuse compagne loyale qui sera à vos côtés pour votre plus grand bonheur ! ÉTINCELLE mérite une famille qui lui donnera plein d'amour et de bons soins pour le reste de sa vie.

ÉTINCELLE is a dazzling beauty who is approximately 5-6 years old and in very good health, although she's overweight - at her arrival the pretty lady weighed around 18 lbs/8 kg. With her gorgeous and abundant dilute tortoise shell coat, her large luminous eyes filled with intelligence and her endearing personality, you will quickly succumb to her charms!
ÉTINCELLE was abandoned at the shelter just before Christmas; the person who brought her said he had found her a few weeks back but could no longer keep her. ÉTINCELLE's past remains a mystery but we can say that she is very comfortable around people and therefore, she was someone's pet before...
ÉTINCELLE is a very sweet, gentle and quite calm kitty but she remains curious, thoroughly exploring every inch of her surroundings. ÉTINCELLE entertains herself by birdwatching and checking things out from the window with much interest. The darling is quiet, she hardly ever cries out. ÉTINCELLE has not yet been put in the common room with the other cats so at the moment, she is still in a cage. We noticed that she is very sociable, much appreciating interactions with humans so she is very impatient to be able to walk around without limitations in her new home.
ÉTINCELLE is very affectionate and adores being caressed & kissed. Once you start to pet her, she enjoys it so much she doesn't want you to stop. The darling girl has a tender and loving nature; you can hold her in your arms a bit but she prefers to sit on your lap or to cuddle next to you on the sofa. ÉTINCELLE will ideally need to lose a bit of weight in the future by eating specialized diet food and will need a complete grooming as when she arrived, her fur was in pretty bad shape, especially her bottom...her weight problem doesn't help her situation. Daily brushings will also be necessary afterwards, to maintain a healthy coat.
We are looking for warm-hearted and caring adopters who will interact and play regularly with ÉTINCELLE to keep her active. Thus, an environment with stairs or several rooms would be best so she can get some exercise indoors. As our delicious furball is very amiable with humans, we believe that she could live in a home with older children (10 years old or more) as long as they are respectful of animals. ÉTINCELLE would be very happy being the only cat of the household. However, if you already have a cat, he/she must be friendly and non-dominant and gradual introductions will be required to avoid stressful situations that would be detrimental to her wellbeing.
Fabulous ÉTINCELLE in graced with the most agreeable temperament, so the damsel will make for a wonderfully loyal companion who will be by your side for your greatest delight ! ÉTINCELLE deserves a family that will shower her with love and good care for the rest of her life.
