Let’s learn some baby horse terminology!
Baby horses are collectively called foals. If a foal is a female, she is referred to as a filly. If a foal is a male, he is referred to as a c**t.
Once a foal turns four years old they are then referred to as either a stallion (uncastrated male), gelding (castrated male), or mare (female)!!
