Hello all!
We are raising money to help make not only my own dreams come true, but the dreams of animals in need EVERYWHERE!
The story behind the name of my future rescue “Carlo’s Dream” comes from our late dog (family member) Carlo, a Cane Corso that passed away of Lymphoma, a horrible form of cancer that takes the lives of many living things, humans included.
Carlo was always a good boy. The best boy.
No matter how much we know we loved him, and like many other pet owners, we feel guilty that we could’ve done more for him, even though we did do everything we could... So, every day I see dogs and other animals in need, whether it be the dogs that are being euthanized or gas-chambered every single day in American kill-shelters, or may it be dogs that are killed for dog meat in China, I need to be there to help.
Many rescues do not have the resources, space, funds, and sometimes even the hearts to help every pet...
That’s where my idea came into play!
Carlo and his family have always strongly believed that all dogs, cats, and other domesticated animals deserve a loving family like Carlo and his brothers and sisters do, and have had until the very end.
This means a warm bed and toys to call their very own, tasty and nutritious meals to fill their bellies, snuggles, walks, access to veterinarians for the injured and unhealthy babies, etc.
Now I know what you’re thinking, this means a FOREVER HOME! Well, yes, but I’m talking a temporary safe place for those furry friends that don’t have one yet!
Carlo’s Dream is going to be a safe place for the pets that are waiting for their forever homes, a bridge to the next step (the most important step) of their lives!
So as you know, this “no one left behind” type of rescue home will require and run off of funds and volunteers.
I will be documenting along the way through the apps tiktok and Facebook, where you amazing human’s money is going to!
No pet left behind shall be the motto ❣️
