We are a 501(3)c Nonprofit organization in Corona , California. Our Purpose is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome. Consider being a monthly donor.

We do this through proper veterinary care, training, farrier services and many hours of love & devotion. Big Star Horse Rescue relies entirely on people like you for donations. Your financial support will be a charitable donation which help supply the horses needs such as:

- housing and feed for horses
- veterinary services
- farrier fees (hoof care)
- transportation to and from vet and to a saf

Never discount a rescue horse! Gunner has been with us for 4 months! We have placed in the last 3 shows we’ve tried. He’s getting better and better! 2 second places today. One in ranch riding and one in Obstacle challenge 😊😊ty MR Anderson Horsemanship for all your coaching 💕🐴next up! The All American horse challenge.

We picked up Whakaari the mustang yesterday. He wasn’t sure about entering the barn. But now is settled in nicely. Reach out to us if you’d like more information on him. We will be doing foundation/ groundwork the first month. He is looking for his forever person that can spend the time with him he needs😊🐴💕

Two of our rescues were in the parade today!! 🐴🥰Paisley was perfectly calm with her new momma! We are so happy for them! Gunner on the other hand was bit anxious until we got to the front of the herd on the way home. So we have some work to do. But he sure looked beautiful !!🤩

18 chimpanzees who could have enjoyed sanctuary life have died waiting for their chance to leave a New Mexico laboratory. Meanwhile, 26 chimpanzees continue to languish at the lab because the National Institutes of Health (NIH) STILL refuses to move them to sanctuary. 😡

This , join us in demanding that the NIH retire the remaining 26 chimpanzees to Chimp Haven sanctuary before it’s too late!

Okay guys! I met this baby. He’s going to be 2 in a week. Not a typical rescue, but my rescues never are😊 he lives in this dark stall. Never gets out or worked with. He is even papered. After I met him. I walked to my car and wept for 10 minutes. The thought of him standing day after day weeks after week hour after hour doing nothing, but eating at meal time. Is breaking my heart. This boy hasn’t even got to start his life yet. Of course the owner wants to sell him. Which in my opinion will be a rescue!! I’m out of town, I will be home next week. I can’t get him off my mind!! Lots of updates!! Let’s start with Dixie! Spoke with her new owners and she’s doing wonderful! Everybody loves her and she’s started working with her therapy girls!! We couldn’t be happier! Opie is on a 30 day trial! And all is fabulous! They are totally in love with him…. He is such a special horse… Taz aka horse on a rope. We moved him because of unforeseen circumstances, to a secluded facility. Ty to the Mustin family! He will be leaving soon to his forever home next week. Thank you all for your on going support.. For the loves of horses!! 😊💕🐴

We have nicknamed the horse on a rope Taz!! He has been adopted and heads out to his new home in 2 weeks. We are wishing him and Alissa great success in his training!! And getting that horrific knot out!! 🐴💕😊
