Why is it important?🧐
Definition: the action of improving or enriching the quality or value of something. 🌻🎨🚗✈️
Example: Taking a watercolor class has enriched my life. 🖌️🎨

I’ve set a goal for 2025 to finally do some self-care and self-interest things I haven’t given myself time to do. Watercolor is one of them. Do you follow Andrea Nelson? I love her no-pressure, no-makes way of playing with paint, so I signed up for a class and love it. I am enriching my life by learning to paint.

How does this relate to dogs? Dogs are living, feeling, thinking beings so like us get tired of the some old some old. They need us to add enriching things to their life to be their best.

What do you do to enrich your dog’s life?
A daily walk is great, but we can do so much more without it taking up too much time, effort, or money. Actually, your recycling bin is a wealth of fun for your dog.

Over the next 30 days, I will share simple ways to enrich your dog’s life. I hope you’ll follow along and share what you learned.

DOG NEEDS HELP! Tycho needs a new home through no fault of his own. His family has had a significant health change and has made the heartbreaking decision to find a new home for their beloved dog. They have reached out to me to help Tycho find a loving new family.

Tycho is a 9-month-old AKC registered pure-breed Labrador Retriever. He's a people lover, dog-friendly, intelligent, healthy, and is highly motivated to learn. He's had some basic training, and comes with AKC registration and all health records. LOCATED IN MEDFORD OREGON.

I've done two behavioral evaluations with Tycho, and honestly, if I didn't have two dogs already, Tycho would be coming home with me. I love this dog.

Dogs have a lot to tell us if we learn their langauge. Come join us to learn some basics on the seven dog body parts that tell us how they feel. How we can help dogs feel more comfortable and confident around people and the best way to greet a dog. (hint-it's not putting your hand in their face.)

I’m stepping WAY outside of my comfort zone to share this training story.

I learn so much from dogs, but today, a random human showed me the purest form of care for my work and my client’s dogs. I hope it moves you to see more magic.

We can always try to be our best selves to allow others the grace they need.

Please help spread the word about the Feline Fair on Feb. 10th in Medford Oregon! Now that the Jackson County Animal Shelter refused to take in cats, our kitty friends need us more than ever.

Join us at the Rogue Valley Mall to visit with and adopt kittens and cats from local feline rescue groups … all in one place!✨

Saturday, February 10th
11:00 am – 4:00 pm
ROGUE VALLEY MALL IN FRONT OF MACY’S LOWER-LEVEL INTERIOR ENTRANCE

It’s a partnership to help find purrfect homes for all felines in our community. Five cat rescue organizations are participating. That means you’ll be able to visit with up to 50 felines from around the Rogue Valley!

Kitten season has produced hundreds of unplanned litters. Non-profit feline rescue organizations and their dedicated volunteers have generously saved kittens throughout the Rogue Valley and raised them in foster homes. Many are now ready for adoption.

The Rogue Valley Mall is generously providing space (location to be announced) where there will be 50 kittens and cats available for adoption. All felines are friendly, vaccinated (initial doses), dewormed, spayed/neutered, and come with a microchip – a permanent form of ID.

The adoption fees are REDUCED to just $100 per feline, PLUS Friends of the Animals (FOTAS) will pay the 2nd adoption fee (2-Fur-1) if two cats/kittens are adopted together!

That means that FOTAS will be picking up the second adoption fee! You get two adorable cats or kitties to bring home for the price of one. It’s a GREAT deal and your new companions will be happier too! Adopt two kitties & get twice the snuggles!
