everyone meet pickle! she’s my rankin female who will be a future breeder. i’ll eventually be getting her a male but for now am focusing on getting mochi up to weight first. but this is so exciting! rankins are in the future for everyone!

5 babies ready to go home! the rest are still too small but these guys are good to go. they eat great and have mild temper mayo handling. although they’ll need a bit more handling (inside the cage because they can jump very far) and they eat great on their own. they’re being bullies to their smaller cage mates so i know they’re ready to go off on their own now and be in their new home!

two babies are completely out. got them warming up and snoozing in a tank now. 3 more have pipped and are at least a quarter of the way out now. should have 5 babies at the end of the day 😭💗

we’re pipping!!! this is such a milestone for me 😭🙏 looked at his little nose pipping out and he’s definitely Chili’s child. little red guy. so excited for the next few days! 1 of 14 so far!

babies hatching out soon! 14! expected to hatch anytime between now and january at the latest. fi also had a second unexpected clutch soon after but all were infertile except for 4. so we will potentially have 4 more hatching out february-march! dragons from the first clutch will be available by time to second clutch hatches! i can take deposits to save a dragon for you though until they’re ready to go to their new home once they’re born and you see a certain one you’d love to have!

the king. this bad boy is gonna guarantee we don’t lose another clutch. pre ordered and just arrived today. super happy to have it. fifi and chili finally paired! this clutch is going to have the best and will be born! brings me peace of mind knowing that. losing her last clutch was hard on me. end of this month fifi will be laying! can’t wait!

GUYS! we finally did it! chili and fifi finally paired. after months of attempts by chili they finally paired today! in 20 days we’re going to have eggs again!

it’s too bad Ekko has Muscular Dystrophy. she would be a huge producer. i’ve been monitoring her knowing she’s got some infertile eggs in her, woke up today and turned the lights on to find 26 eggs! 26! she really pounded them out. that’s double what mama fifi laid. so glad she’s got them out of her, she was really getting tired.
fun fact- did you know if you have a female dragon they’ll lay eggs at least once in their lifetime without the presence of a male? female dragons can lay infertile eggs every year to every other or even just once in their lifetime. this is Ekkos second year laying eggs. last year she popped a ton out around this time as well. there is nothing you can do to keep them from producing infertile eggs. if your dragon does lay eggs make sure to give her lots of water, nutrients and fattening food! even though they’re not live eggs mama went through the same pregnancy as a mama with fertile eggs would have. she will be dehydrated and tired. freeze your eggs and then throw them away the next day. frozen eggs will not have a stinky smell!

almost all the babies. Moose, fifi, polly, lemon and ekko. then chili bean all alone at the bottom because he’s not nice around everyone else.
-special statement: these dragons are all female and relatively the same size, who are around each other outside their enclosures. they get along together in this environment but would not if they shared one or were any smaller than one another. do not put large dragons next to baby dragons under any circumstance. do not put male dragons next to male dragons or put breeding/alpha males (like chili) next to females. or there WILL be issues. i know all of my dragons well and seperate them accordingly to who gets along and who doesn’t when we’re out for play time outside of tanks.

I would also like to let everyone know who’s not in my loop but follows my socials, Fat mama’s eggs collapsed in the incubator soon after she laid them. i got rid of that incubator soon after. it completely malfunctioned 10 days after the babies were first put in, humidity rose and temps fluctuated so badly the last day that all eggs collapsed under stress. a completely devastating blow to my heart. took me 4 whole days to finally be able to empty the incubator out and stop crying. Because of that we will unfortunately not be having babies until next summer or fall. It also gives us more time to get a more reliable incubator so we can guarantee no eggs collapse next time. please stay following the social pages for updates on all the dragons and any news! there’s gonna be a huge surprise i want to show everyone around august 8th, be sure you don’t miss it! i’m very excited!

one of my newest editions, hypo leatherback dunner. her name is Jelly. she’s going to be put into the program by hopefully next summer or fall! in other news, GUESS WHAT. Malaysian Red Monster Bloodline is gonna be coming to yours truly in august. A breeder i’ve followed closely is FINALLY able to ship to the states. look out everyone. red monster bloodline is coming to the south!!!
