Mimi is a little 3 year old, 14 pound, bundle of pure joy whose only wish is to please her humans. Rarely does she let her humans out of her sight. She will follow you every moment of the day, wagging her little tail, always anxious to please. Her biggest joy is to be held on her foster mom’s lap and to be hugged and petted!

When Mimi came into us she was in dire need of medical attention. She had not been taken care of in a very long time. She was full of fleas, much of her fur was missing and she had open sores all over her little body from scratching. She was immediately seen by our vet and was diagnosed with sarcoptic mange, a very contagious form of scabies that required her to be quarantined for 2 weeks. She also had flea allergy dermatitis, bacterial dermatitis, tapeworms, dental disease, and a grade 4 heart murmur. She was seen by a cardiologist and her echocardiogram showed that, while she has a murmur, there is no enlargement, no meds are needed and was given the green light to proceed with her dental. She now has pearly whites and her coat is coming back in beautifully. She is current on her vaccines, microchipped and on Heartworm prevention. Despite all that she has been through, she is the sweetest little girl that has such resilience, s***k and the cutest little personality.

Fast forward 4 months, Mimi has blossomed into the happy, healthy little girl she was meant to be! We promise you, Mimi will melt your heart. She is very smart and tells you what she likes. If she wants a belly rub she will make sure you know. She definitely keeps those around her smiling. She loves to chase balls and play with her foster siblings. Another one of her favorite things is hunting for and chasing bugs in the back yard.

She is now looking for her forever home. She could be an only dog or live with friendly dog siblings. She was around a cat briefly and wasn’t fazed. She also loves to go on walks and car rides. She walks very nicely on the leash and will get so excited when the leash comes out! She loves to see new things and is a confident little girl.

Mimi deserves a wonderful next chapter of her life! She is such an easy little girl to love and she loves you back 10-fold. Recommendations: Fenced yard, someone home most of the time, can be an only dog or would do great with another small dog to play with, gentle older children okay
And we are asking a rehoming fee for the family who will come for her.
