Annie is a former TB racehorse who arrived September 26, 2021 from the kill pen has landed herself in a fantastic foster home with her new friend Charlie. We couldn’t be happier for this sweet mare and new foster parents 💕

We are THRILLED to announce that Diva has been adopted! She has settled in with her new big brother, and they are inseparable! Diva lives up to her name, which made finding the perfect home a little more challenging, but we couldn't have asked for a better family for her!

It's $5 Friday!!!!!! It's time to get ready for winter at the rescue, and we need YOUR help! Every dollar donated goes directly back into the care of the rescues, which includes hay, feed, farrier and vet care. If just 100 people donated $5, that would cover an entire load of hay! If 60 people donated $5, it would cover an entire load of feed! If just 40 people donated $5, it would cover bedding for a month! If we all work together, amazing things can happen! We are heartbroken to let you know that our beautiful Duncan passed this morning, after a sudden medical event during feeding time. He passed quickly, quietly, and peacefully, wrapped in the arms of his "mom", with his 2 friends close by. Duncan was one of the original horses that started Chasing Rainbows Rescue, and his absence will be felt for a long time. Rest easy sweet Duncan, aka JC Unbreelievable.💔💔

‼️I have a friend in need of a foster/possible adopter for her two german sheperds. One female 3 years old, and one Male 2years old (turning 3 in November) . The male is neutered, however the female hasn't been spayed. Both are up to date on their shots and the owner is very willing to pay for the spay of the female if needed. She would really like to keep them together, preferably in a household with no other dogs or cats, but if split up the the male can be around cats and other animals but is dog selective with males, and can be fine with females when introduced correctly.The female isn't good with cats but is okay with other dogs male and female. They do very well together, and are both GREAT with young children and have shown no signs of aggression with children. They would do best in a home with plenty of excerise being available or yard/land. They come with all their belongings as well! This is a very time sensitive situation so please message me for more information or to inquire! Please share

Becket has been adopted! He found his girl, and she found her boy. Instant besties! After tragically losing her horse over the winter, we hope this sweet boy will help heal her heart. Heading home to Virginia. Happy trails dear Becket.

Sending out the biggest THANK YOU to Chief Winter from the Boalsburg Fire Company. We have been without water and power since 4pm yesterday due to the storms that came thru. He gave up his Saturday morning to make sure every trough and bucket on the property was full for the horses. We appreciate the support from our community so much. Thank your first responders for everything they do!

He was abused and hit in the face with a shovel before coming to us, so his face looks a little different, but it doesn't slow him down! Come meet this special guy. We guarantee he will steal your heart!

Becket is an absolute love bug. He has been used for beginner lessons and trail rides, and takes amazing care of the littles. He would be a great addition to a family looking for a safe trail buddy for kids or guests. He doesn't mind being stalled, but spends most of his time outside. He was badly abused and hit with a shovel, causing the deformity on his face. It doesn't slow him down at all. He can be wary of things unexpectedly coming up on his blind side, but nothing dangerous. He will trail ride alone with a more experienced rider, but is safe for anyone in a group setting. He turns out with anyone, and is middle of the pecking order.

Hello everyone. With hay season in full swing, it is time for our summer hay fundraiser. We need your help to raise half of our hay funds, which will get us thru the end of September. The goal by the end of July is to raise $1800 to fill the barn. $5 covers one bale, $250 sponsors half a wagon, and $500 sponsors a full wagon. Absolutely thrilled to announce that Buddykins(now Sprocket) the donkey was adopted, and went home today. What makes it even better, is that he was reunited with his brother Frost(now Elvis). We were told it was an amazing reunion. These are the days we are reminded why we do what we do, and fight so hard for these animals. Happy trails boys! Congrats Whittemore family!!!!!

Maple and Bacon are looking for their forever home! Their joint adoption fee is lowered to 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ to the proper home!
They are 2 year old sisters, and have been together their entire lives, so they must be adopted together.
They are pot bellies that have never lived inside a home, but are happy with a cozy shelter, straw, blanket, and a safe place to roam. They LOVE their treats!

When rescues support each other and work together, amazing things happen for the horses! Today we transfered Benji and Sweetie to our dear friends at Triple Dream Farm, home of Reins For Rescues. They are another small 501c3 non profit rescue, and they do awesome things. These 2 will spend the rest of their lives being loved on by some amazing people, who have recently experienced several tragic losses. We can't thank Christina and her crew enough for this opportunity. THIS is what rescue is all about!

We wanted to take a moment to talk about a few things with all of our amazing Army. Times are tough for everyone, especially small non profit organizations like us. Prices of everything are up, and donations are down. Our emergency vet funds are dangerously low, as are our hay and grain fund. We wouldn't be able to do what we do without each of you. We need your help. We need sponsors. Whether it's $30 for a bag of grain, $5 for a bale of hay, $40 for a trim, or a monthly sponsorship for a specific horse. It all adds up, and 100% goes straight to the animals. We are a 100% volunteer run organization. No one here takes a salary. Please help us bounce back. Today was farrier day for some of the rescues, including Hudson and his mom, Blossom. As you can see, Huddy had to supervise VERY closely, and got the best seat in the house for his first trim! Check out those tiny feet!

Just a reminder about the hoodie fundraiser. When we did t-shirts, we were BEGGED by dozens of people to offer hoodies. We were told that's what everyone wanted, so we made it happen. As you can see, there's only 3 days left in our hoodie fundraiser, and we are nowhere close to our goal. We have 3 days left to sell at least 42 hoodies. Proceeds from the sale benefit ongoing costs for the animals at Chasing Rainbows. We are working hard to make our current location our permanent home, and we CANNOT do it without your help! A $30 donation gets you a nice warm hoodie, and helps the animals. It is a
win-win situation. We can still pull this off, but we need your help! Please order your hoodie today, and it can ship straight to you! Thank you to those who have already ordered.

Due to high demands of asking for sweatshirts, we have started another fundraiser running until MAY 12th!

Not only is this beautiful young lady the daughter of our amazing farrier, she is an amazing international model. We are so happy to see her showing off our rescue shirt.
