SUPER proud of my client and friend on another World Title!!!

Muse did it! You’re looking at a couple of EXCA world champions! Muse dominated the New Partner division for recently gentled mustangs. I couldn’t be prouder to have her as a partner. I really saw the potential in her when I first caught sight of her in the BLM holding pens just six short months ago. I’m so proud of our journey together, the horse she has become, and the lessons she has taught me. I have a few thank you’s that hopefully won’t take too long. Firstly to my amazing supportive husband Connor who always supports my goals and dreams. To the Extreme Cowboy Association for putting on such a great show and the Mustang Heritage Foundation for sponsoring this class. To Green Horse Organics for helping Muse shine! To my amazing sidekick this weekend Lexi Romo for being such an incredible helping hand. To Julie Anna Prusak for taking such good care of William at home and for all those jumping lessons which really paid off. To Eicher Ranch and Hogan Equine for the lessons that helped me get Muse on the right track to win this thing. To Mary Kitzmiller Horsemanship for the amazing handmade saddle blankets that I’m sure made her run so fast from feeling so pretty! And to the Ogier family for the wild rag and pin that made me feel pretty too! And to all the amazing family and friends in my life who believe in me. I couldn’t do it without y’all ❤️

Though we have moved and call Bryan home, this does NOT change where I do dentals. I am mobile and still out of my truck. I will come to the Houston area, and I will come to the Beaumont area as well!!!

I will also still make some trips to Louisiana.

Katy had been racking her brain why her mare wouldn't turn and was just not loving the bit. After oral evaluation we found a fractured molar and open pulp. We had to work with Dr. Nick Moore on extracting a 108 tooth on Blossom. She had been super grouchy and blowing off the 3rd.

Dr. Moore extracted that molar and BAM 💥 look at her fly!!! Put your seat belt on Katy, Blossoms ready to ROLL!!

Horse owner friends - I’m sharing this from a LSU vet.

For those of you who may not have heard, LSU is investigating possible botulism deaths related to feeding alfalfa cubes produced in Colorado. This is a statement made on Equine Clinicians Network. Dr. Rose Baker has been the lead clinician investigating.

“A quick update - we have heard about or talked to several other farms in New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma who have had horses that have experienced similar clinical signs. We are in early investigations but in the spirit of getting information out quickly, I wanted to share that there appears to be a feed connection between these locations.

If you have clients who feed alfalfa hay cubes that are produced in Colorado, I would suggest asking them to stop feeding them until further investigations have been performed and more specific statements can be made.

If you have any clients experiencing similar signs and would like to reach out, please feel free to do so [email protected] I am happy to collaborate/share information that we have regarding our findings.”
