It’s been a while since I’ve done a color post. So let me show you the wild variations that happen within this color pattern. So a black smoke is a SOLID black coat with a silver undercoat. The neat thing is that the gene that causes the silver undercoat can manifest in completely different ways. It can be just 1/8 of and inch at the base of each hair follicle all the way to nearly the tips of each hair or anything in between. There is huge variation within this color.
