Kitten room
Meet our younger cats in room 4!
Betsy (ADOPTED1yr. F), Quincy (ADOPTED1yr. M), Sonny (2yr. M), Ginger (2yr. F), Jack (ADOPTED 2yr. M) and Jill (ADOPTED 2yr. F)
These amazing and loving younger cats are waiting for their forever homes! Betsy and Quincy are a bonded brother and sister pair and are both the sweetest cats that really complement each other’s personalities! Jack and Jill want nothing but to be loved on and pet for as long as you’ll pet them, and when you stop, Jack will put his paw up to his face and rub his paw on his face like he is petting himself. Sonny and Ginger are more relaxed and laid back but enjoy being loved on just as much as any other cat would.
All of our friends are still looking for their forever home and can’t wait to meet you! If you are interested in meeting any of our adoptable friends please fill out an application at 1by1catrescue.org so we can set up a time for you to meet all of our amazing friends!

ADOPTABLE CAT AT THE SHELTER!!
Meet Laverne (F) DOB: 4/28/2022
According to a quick internet search, the girl’s name Laverne is of French origin meaning “springlike”, and our Laverne sure does have a “spring” in her step. This is despite some orthopedic issues-prior hip surgery and what her vet calls “loose” knees. At this point the doctor says no surgery is needed (perhaps in the future) and she is otherwise in good health and adoptable. And here’s the thing-Laverne doesn’t seem to know that any of this should slow her down. She walks and jumps and plays like any other cat. She likes to play with wand toys and the laser pointer and your shoelaces.
She’s super friendly, likes to rub on you and be petted, but not picked up. She gets along with other cats and would get along with anyone who is willing to take a chance on her (except maybe very young children). And that black stripe on her nose is beyond cute. So what do you say-could Laverne be the one for you?
She is spayed, microchipped, current on Rabies and FVRCP (distemper) vaccinations, was wormed and is FeLV/FIV negative.
If interested please fill out an application at 1by1catrescue.org. Put LAVERNE or SHELTER CAT as the cat's name. After your application is received, we will reach out to set up a private shelter meet and greet. At the shelter you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with all the adoptable cats and kittens there! You are not obligated to adopt of course but we do guarantee love connections!

Doni
ADOPTABLE CAT AT THE SHELTER!!
Meet Doni
This little ball of orange fluff has stolen everyone’s hearts at the shelter. She walks with a slight wobble due to a neurological problem , but she’ll be the first to tell you not to worry about that. She can walk and run and jump shorter distances with the best of them.
Doni enjoys the company of other cats at the shelter and often goes “visiting.” She would be good in a home that already has cats or adopted with one of our other great cats. We would not recommend a house with a dog, unless it’s a small, calm dog. Properly supervised children would be OK. And one last thing-the bigger and cozier her cat bed, the better.
Doni is roughly 6/7 years young. She is spayed, microchipped, current on Rabies and FVRCP (distemper) vaccinations, was wormed and is FeLV/FIV negative.
If interested, please fill out an application at 1by1catrescue.org. Put DONI or SHELTER CAT as the cat's name. After your application is received, we will reach out to set up a private shelter meet and greet. At the shelter you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with all the adoptable cats and kittens there! You are not obligated to adopt of course but we do guarantee love connections!

Toby
ADOPTABLE CAT AT THE SHELTER !!
Who has striking green eyes framed by a stunning black fur coat? That would be our young guy, Toby.
Toby had some difficulties adjusting to shelter life and so would need someone to be patient with him.
He likes attention from the people he has come to trust (especially people with food!) and will come to you for pets. He can also be quite “helpful.” He’s not always good with other cats. He gets along with them for a short period of time, then can get over stimulated and lash out. Toby wants to be a good boy all the time and to help him with that, his greatest wish is a quiet home without young children where he can be the only pet. That way he can shine as the good boy he is meant to be. If you’re looking for an only, Toby may be the one for you.
If interested please fill out an application at 1by1catrescue.org. Put TOBY or SHELTER CAT as the cat's name. After your application is received, we will reach out to set up a private shelter meet and greet. At the shelter you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with all the adoptable cats and kittens there! You are not obligated to adopt of course but we do guarantee love connections!
